I know what you mean about the people who've had "soft baby hand lives" and its just plain no good for them. The whole point of all of this chit is to suffer (sometimes) so we can level up and then enjoy the good times much much more because we are aware of how bad things can truly get. Makes you appreciate all the little things more as well and personally for me its made me care about people more too. Thinking positive thoughts only is huge as well since we're on the subject. I know people who've been given everything in life and they truly think they know more and are better than everyone else yet when some little thing happens they can't deal and act like its the end of the world. Being humbled is actually important as long as you process it the right way.
Props on the townhouse, real estate has been about the best investment possible for the last 70+ years and now with the hyperinflation, Rona, low rates, housing shortage and all this other fukery I don't see this "housing market correction" allot of people are talking about coming anytime soon. I think we'll continue to see real estate go up for the next few years at least. Could be wrong, but we're in our 30's so we don't have time decay and can hold through a correction then be back to all time highs even if it takes 15 years.
I totally agree its better to go through all this pain now rather than later, I wouldn't wanna be 50 with no life experience. I'd be a hyooooge pusssaaaayyyyy LOL
