You are about a 90’s grade democrat.
Your entire laundry list there was empty-content fluff with no actual stance on anything.

Cheers.

Edit- republicans are a clown circus because of their lack of fiscal policy backbone.

I don't consider myself a republican... But I'm definitely right wing, possibly too far right for the republicans.

for me,

1. military service should be mandatory in order to run for president.
2. stop the "war on drugs" tomorrow.
3. individualize social security benefits, and healthcare via compulsory tax-free savings accounts. (singapore style)
4. be tenacious in eliminating corruption (pelosi should be jailed for the amount of money she has accumulated)
5. politicians are currently steering the FDA, I shouldn't need to elaborate on this.
6. the cost of your home should be a tax-deduction (repairs, mortgage payments, everything)

Basically, incentivize people to be better... The opposite of what our current system is heading for.

Also, our current system isn't just "heading for" we're basically there (in many aspects at least) and have been for quite a while.

We prefer self responsibility and minimal government interference in our lives. If you don't want to go bankrupt from healthcare, then make sure you have good health insurance. If you don't think your job is paying you enough, find one that will, or improve yourself so you are worth more.

Seriously, look into what Singapore has done.

It's embarrassing that we haven't adopted their system.

Probably the best book I've ever read "one man's view of the world" does a great job of laying out singapore politics.

even with good health insurance you could get a bill from a devastating illness for 200,000.

I do think health care costs should certainly be addressed, but I have no clue what a feasible solution(s) to that is. Any sort of "free" shyt (which anyone with common sense knows isn't actually free) is just a band aid over a bigger issue though.

the idea of compulsory health savings accounts MOGS the concept of insurance.

employers also pay SS tax, just change that into a compulsory corporate health savings account.... they can assist their employees (self-insure) when needed, or when the employees run out of their own health savings account money.

Requiring the population to price shop for health care would drive down health care prices SO MUCH that we wouldn't need insurance anymore. Insurance is the problem.

The entire reason that healthcare costs are so outrageous is because of government interference. Same with college tuition. OP thinks that the same people that created the problems are going to solve them...

compulsory health savings accounts.

You pay a "tax" which is actually a deposit to an account WITH A BALANCE for you. You can only spend this money on healthcare, for yourself, spouse, or children.

Your employer has the same "tax" that goes into their balance... They can use this to assist employees when needed.

HAVING A BALANCE FORCES PEOPLE TO PRICE SHOP.

Our current system has insurers bidding for care and hospitals gouging to balance it out. It's a joke, and no patient is ever presented with a price menu before treatment, why the fuk not?

Republicans and Democrats are one in the same, serving the same master. If anything, Republicans are worse as they have no rigidity in their beliefs and will always fold to the will of anyone or anything further to the left. Tell me, what have the conservatives ever conserved in your lifetime?

If you are anything other than a white-nationalist race-realist, you unwittingly serve the interests of the system and owe Israel and its people your allegiance. God Bless America!

It’s all working like a well oiled machine, keeping Americans distracted with being Democrat/Republican while elected officials fill their vaults with our hard earned money. The sad part is they do this right under our noses and everyone is just ok with it.

I don’t understand a Republican mindset either. I voted for Trump and lean center right, but allegiance to either party is retarded to me. Both are selling us out to the elites in back room deals.

The mindset of current day republican = complain about everything democrats do, but never undo any of it when they get elected to office.

LGBT chit needs to be out of public learning. We should have merit based immigration. Parents of "trans children" should be jailed. All drugs should be legal and each person who wants to purchase should have a scannable ID wherein they track what and how much is bought. All money from this should be used for addiction treatment + public decision by voting.

Main problem is those in power hold too much power. MSM is too powerful, public education needs to be restructured. Mandates should've never been made for covid.

I feel like I'm pretty far right/hold nationalist views, but the idea of the USA is dead to me.

The only reason our leaders aren't pushing harder like we see everywhere else in the world is due to our 2nd amendment, but a large % of our garbage society would love to abolish the 2nd amendment. Hell, there are too many restrictions on the 2nd as it stands. You need to pay the government $200 for a silencer? $200 for SBR? It's illegal in half of the country to conceal a firearm without a permit?

Those are all BS rules.
