I wonder if he ever got his money back?

RIP

My dad let me take his cd player on a road trip to see some family as a kid, but he forgot to take the cd out of it. It was Bat Out of Hell 2, and I ****ing loved it.

Saw him live about fifteen years ago. He was incredible on stage, giving it his all even though he looked like he was going to drop dead the whole time. Sang for three hours. RIP.

RIP Meatloaf.

One of my best memories as a kid was listening to the "Bat out of hell" LP on a record player in my room. The piano and instrumental opening to Bat out of hell is still one of the greatest song intros ever. The guy had an abusive drunk as a father, made it on broadway and has the #4 highest selling album of all time. He has been in many iconic movies and has one of the most powerful voices in rock history. He may not be relevant or seen as a nobody to today's younger generation, but the guy is a rock icon.
