Can any cigar enthusiasts recommend a sampler pack of various cigars? Which brands/cigars are the best? Can you recommend a cigar box, cutter, lighters and Ash tray?

All that’s personal preference dawg. I’d just hit the local joint for a sampler every now and then and just go from there. One of my favorites are hoyo de Monterrey maduro.

Edit: Another favorite is La Gloria Cubana Serie R No 7 Maduro

Some non-Cuban brands I like are: padron (26 and 64), arturo fuente anejos (these are sometimes hard to find), maybe a my father sampler, ashton vsgs. If you are in the US and have a Total Wine near you, they have decent humidors and decent prices.

My favorite cutter is a palio. My favorite ash try is stinky ash trays. No preference on lighters so long as they are refillable and triple torch.

Atlantic Cigar usually has Alec Bradley and My Father samplers. Both are very good. "Best?" Hard to say...I've had cigars that people claim are incredible and been very underwhelmed and vice versa (Ghurkas are actually not bad as long as you can look past their always-90%-off pricing scheme).

Rocky Patel makes good sticks. Local shops can probably hook you up with some cheap varieties so you can decide what you like. Like above poster I have tried expensive cigars and been underwhelmed so, unlike a fine dram of brown liquor, I find that keeping it simple and going for light/medium/full body is as much distinction as I will worry about.

I only smoke them every other weekend or so in the summer time, but I like Tatuaje, Rocky Patel, and Avo. Get a regular cigar cutter (all that punch cut stuff is just fancy IMO), a butane torch flame lighter and learn to light it properly (I still suck at it), and then sit back and enjoy the summer evening or something. Pair it with a rum (apparently that's what you're supposed to pair it with to pair the flavors best) or just a beer. Very relaxing hobby, but only summertime for me. I hate the cold.

Lmao. For some reason before I get on the ski lift I always pound a beer or 2 and rip a cigar down in the lot getting ready. Not sure why, but it feels right every time.

I love the cold, plus smoking a cigar during Winter is the best. Fresh clean, crisp air. F. Smoking a cigar while bugs are swarming you.

What is the best cigar humidor digital hygrometer and are the Broveda Seasoning and Maintenance packs the best to use for a beginner cigar enthusiast?

What type/material of Cigar Ashtrays are ideal?

Can anyone recommend cigar tools I have a lighter but do not know which type of Cutter and small Travel Humidor case to get. Appreciate any recommendations!
