Recently, I saw a documentary about child molestation. The absolutely disgusting acts some people commit against children are so gruesome. They deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I also watched a documentary series about the Holocaust not so long ago. It's hard to think about the human depravity and cruelty that took place during that period of history. The battle against antisemitism and bigotry will also continue today.

I saw a documentary about the Columbine massacre recently too. That was a horrendous day. Those cowardly shooters could have gone down a different path in life, but instead they chose to kill a bunch of innocent people.

HEB has some farmed steelhead trout that is basically salmon and is very good. I have served it for people who asked me while eating it if I had injected it with butter.

The missus has a job offer on the table that she's really considering taking. It's a European company with offices in London, Paris, Berlin and Barcelona. Barcelona would have been our #1 choice, but it's out of the question because there are some legal entity issues that would make it challenging for her to sponsor me there as her spouse. Berlin is a no go, because i'm not going anywhere without my dog, and Germany's breed-specific legislation makes it impossible for him to enter. Paris, no. That leaves us with London.

I can work remotely, so not an issue for me to relocate. We have to make a decision very soon

I can't wrap my head around going from 0 taxes, to whatever the phuck they would tax me there. 35% or some chit. I've never paid a dime in taxes, ever. This doesn't really bother me much, i think, but going from a place with practically no crime to any western capital city is going to be interesting. I leave my car running and don't lock my door here.

Move but don't move?

Keep a residency where you are, stay in London for 5 months then go back home for a month. Rinse and repeat.

Do that until you're sure you want to permanently move to London. You don't know after two years you might hate it.

I know your onlyfans let's you work remotely, but maybe it's time for a real job.

Not the 1st time I've been doxxed here.

I'm a low maintenance guy . Don't need much. A grill, my dog, something with an engine to wrench on, bacon, and a weekly vax. So London will be fine whatever it turns out to be, so don't need to test it out. If anything, I'll enjoy getting to live in a new city/continent. New adventures etc...it's just the tax situation that's my angus isn't peppered for

I will keep my ***** residence permit, for sure. I'll be visiting every few months or so.

Just keep your residency in ***** so you pay taxes in *****. I don't understand the problem; don't change your address for however you get paid and file ***** taxes.

I am sure the men that pay you don't care if you are in London or *****.

Doesn't matter if I have a ***** residency. If I have a UK residency and live there I'll have to pay UK income tax, and they'll come after me if I don't.

I'm not sure how, but I believe they'll know through your spending habits. Again, not sure about the how, just that it's quite risky to not declare my income and pay taxes as per their laws, even if im getting paid out of *****

Even if I was unlikely to get caught it's not a risk I'd want to take just to save some $

She wants to work, and I have no interest in talking her out of it. We don't have kids, and we can reasses once we do, but to preemptively ask her to stop working because we're going to have kids one day doesn't make sense. I don't even see that happening post kids tbh, especially as I'll be working remotely so it's not like I have to be out all day.

We both happen to have jobs we really like. And I mean that in the truest sense. Most people who say that usually mean they dislike their current job the least, but in our case it's actually fun.

Tldr: I have some liberal views

She doesn't need to find another job, her job in ***** is pretty nice.

There's minimal risk involved, because we can always move back. I'll still have my desert residency. Plus, a change would be nice. Explore a new place, stay there for a few years and decide if we want to stay there longer or come back. A cold climate is very much welcome too. Snowboarding in the mall just doesn't cut it...

Subaru Ascent my man. It's a Subaru, so basically on par with the best as far as safety goes. Starting MSRP is in the low 30s. Great creature comforts. Practical. Great resale value

Good call. The City of Austin also gives you jerkoff points for owning a Subaru.

Is there really a difference with safety features when getting in an accident going 70MPH? One car kills ya while the other makes you a vegetable?

I honestly dont know, as safety features have never once crossed my mind when buying a car?

Give your self a budget, cut a decent chunk off of it by going a bit cheaper and give the savings to your pops...
