You know I was reading more about Russian military equipment and apparently, a lot of their trucks use Chinese-made tires which are of poor quality and hence easily break down. Also, the breakdown of equipment is indicative of poor maintenance (perhaps not enough money) and correspondingly high levels of corruption which siphoned off a lot of the money meant for the maintenance of military equipment.

I think the original vision was for Putin to capture south and east Ukraine, for oil deposits and necessary resources for Crimea.

But with EU and NATO now trying to fast track Ukraine into the EU and inevitably NATO, Russia, from their own strategic viewpoint. cannot allow that to happen. So Russia really has no choice. but to get Ukraine to surrender and Ukraine to become another puppet state like Belarus.


It's almost like a hybrid of Northern Ireland and Syria all wrapped up in a fukked up geopolitical bow.

For one, that would be quite impossible to accomplish and two, it would mean that Russia would be even closer to NATO than before.

Let's also drop the "Ukraine will be fast tracked into NATO and EU" bs, neither of them are happening, especially the EU membership.

Signing a simple letter or saying that xyz countries support them joining the EU is one thing, but actual accession is an extremely lengthy and difficult procedure with the conditions being so strict that many Member States in their current state would not be eligible for accession themselves. Ukraine has no hope of meeting those criteria in the foreseeable future, Balkan countries have been diking around for 15-20 years after being recognized as accession candidates. Let's not even talk about Turkey.

NATO criteria are far less strict, but Ukraine doesn't meet any of them either, especially the one concerning the fair handling of minorities. It will remain a buffer state propped up by the West.

They can leave the part of Ukraine from the west of roughly where Moldova is as a rump state. It's basically the historic Galicia and Volhynia. That halves their land border in that area and gives them the main part of Ukraine.

Wrong. None of them are innocent. They elected Putin and happily re-elected him after he stole Crimea. I did research on Russians and those fukers were all happy as fuk with only a small minority opposing. They all screamed 'Crimea is OURS" and threatened to steal the rest of the country too. This is why Ukrainians hate those fukers so much and fight to the death now.

Ukrainian vloggers on YT used to go on sites like Omegle to talk to Russians, 9 out of 10 times the Russian on the other end was a Putin-worshiping gopnik screaming how they are going to destroy or enslave Ukraine in less than a day. Those people are a bunch of uncivilized pests and they don't deserve anything good. I bet they are seething right now with exploding butthurt from this catastrophic failure of an invasion - good. Maybe they'll grow some brains after starving for a few days.

Russians needs to go out on the streets and protest. They caused this and it's their responsibility to fix it. If they don't do chit then whatever, let them fuking rot then.

I have never claimed that azov are not pro nazi ideas.

But you proved my point for me tbh regarding this: just because a small fringe minority of trump supporters happen to also be neo nazis, doesn’t mean that ALL trump supporters should be attacked… just like a small fringe minority of Ukrainian people/armed forces happen to also be neo nazi, doesn’t mean that ALL of Ukraine should be attacked.


If Putin had invaded Donbas and started shelling the azov, I don’t think many people would have cared at all about this, but he didn’t do that. He invaded the entire country of Ukraine.

I'm Hungarian and one of our long standing beef with the Ukrainian gov and their far right dikheads is the mistreatment and oppression of ethnic minorities in Ukraine like our fellow Hungarians, so no need to try and explain the situation to me.

Might want to try and make up your mind what Putin's reason for attacking was, looks like the NATO expansion was just a red herring and he's actually out for the Nazis who are schizos as well, seeing how they are apparently fighting for the Western globohomo agenda. Issue is that neither Zhukov nor Macron said what you stated they've said.
