The following day I asked my wife how school was and if the guy bothered her again, she told me he wasn't in class so it was a peaceful day .The guy ended up dropping out of class and my wife never had to deal with him again. I never told my wife that story either , till this day she has no clue it ever happened.

Bottom line OP sometimes thats the only way to deal with a problem. The guy knows you exist and continues to disrespect you and your wife.

All you know is that SHE is telling you all of this stuff about how he approaches her when you're not around. You don't see it yourself. Women do this all of the time for attention. Maybe she feels that you aren't giving her the attention she wants so she's manipulating the situation so that you give her more attention.

She could be the one who has been initiating the interest of this man. Men don't randomly give their IG to married women that they see with their husbands unless they believe there's some sort of interest on her part.

Yes, I don't get how his harassed wife gave him her name-so he can now look at her social media & possibly track down her address. Unless you think the guy is going to kick your ass then confront him & make it clear what will happen if he talks to her again. The only other way out is to either tell him to find another gym, or tell her to. If she really isn't liking the attention then she can report him to the management there.

The misc responses on the first page (and for example, the post right above this) or two made me just shake my head. Guess most FA's on this forum dont realize a LOT of women are literally scared to say something to a guy like this (regardless of size) because theyre afraid of them flying off the handle and doing something fukking stupid. Next thing you know this guy is following her to her car or something worse because he got rejected. I've seen plenty of women in my life do exactly what OP's wife is doing for the exact reasons as described. They take the number, give the IG handle, or anything else, just because they want to avoid any conflict whatsoever. Especially if the guy is doing this, possibly acting a little creepy, and obviously knows she's in a relationship (could be wrong. Does she wear a ring at the gym?). They follow the "play along" but not actually do anything mentality, and basically ignore it. Just adds to the chit. Best thing to do is to probably approach the dude together, dont be a douche, and talk civil with the guy. Being polite and not a dikk will drive it home. You know, be an adult. Dont go up dick waving like the misc wants. She mentioned it to OP that it's making her uncomfortable, so obviously if she's telling the truth she wants him to do something about it because she's hesitant to do so. Most likely because he gives off the creepy serial killer vibe.

Exactly. If a guy ever hits on my girl I say nothing. She either shuts it down immediately or I dump her. Nice and easy test she can either pass or fail. No reason to interfere when someone is revealing their true nature through their actions.

Not going to read all the responses. Walk up to him and say "hey bud you know so and so is my wife right? I mean you see us here together. Why would you ask for her instagram and only talk to her while im not around? Then let him respond that they are friends. Then say ok so the few minutes of conversation you have while she is minding her own business as the gym is a reason to ask for contact info for a married woman? I gotta be honest man your creeping her out and she came to be to ask you to stop.

For you OP - your wife gave out her instagram to a guy at the gym when you were not around. This should be red flags. If a girl came up to you and asked for your social media and you gave it to her, would that be cool with your wife? Ask yourself - If he was 400lbs and gross would she have been so nice to give that guy also her contact info? She did it and is afraid you are going to see it on her insta or he will one day say something to you.
