Not married

But when they start planning your days off work for you

Brb work 3 weeks straight with 18 hour shifts and finally get a day off

Wake up after your first 8 hours of sleep in forever and your phone immediately starts buzzing

Or they know when your day off is and plan some stupid shiit like visiting their fat parents or their friend's birthday

I wouldn't go so far as saying certain behaviours my wife engages indisgustme - that's a pretty potent emotion. Just the general semi-annoying behaviours here and there: leaving lights on, leaving plate on the table, forgetting to turn off my PS4 after watching TV, not charging the remote, things like that.

Mine has to inspect every bite of steak, or whatever meat that may have fat on it, and cut it out leaving a pile of fat with meat attached to it. Works for me though I just eat it, that caramelized fat is good af

One and only thing….since my kid started walking, the wife will wear her robe around the house instead of uncovered. Before the kid was self mobile, it was panties and tight tank top or topless all morning and all evening. Now she covers up….annoys the fukk out of me. I was grabbing and squeezing on her all the time, now that she’s covered up, it’s meh.

Edit
Fukk, after reading other responses ITT, I got nothing to complain about…Jesus fukkin Christ at you guys.

My wife is also LTC with a small appetite. It's almost insulting watching her eat when I'm cutting. I was built to be a fat fuking kunt. Never ending lardass appetite.

Has 0 ability to be quiet, and not what you're thinking....like not constant interjecting herself into conversation, just everyday life chit

Like when she comes home, flies open the door as if being chased by a mob instead of just walking in casually
Slings whatever she is holding at that moment on to the closest object that will hold it. Groceries dropped on an antique hutch, sure why not...purse hung from a coat rack, perfect
Never just sits down, no no has to flop down like Stone Cold off the top rope and lands with a giant breath of air
Walks around the house as if there are nails sticking up in the floor that need stomped back down
I ever get into her car to go somewhere, radio volume somewhere in the 30s just outta fukkin nowhere as soon as you hit the ignition.

Nothing really bothers me about her other than her not picking up after herself. I'm a fairly tidy person so it gets under my skin but gotta live with it. This isn't haram, I'm not going to beat her into submission.

For those that have hoarding wives, I think this serves as a lesson to look at their apartment/house bedroom and bathroom to see their tendencies. I've lived around hoarders before and it's terrible. I hate a dirty house with a passion.

Hard to know if she is being a perfectionist or if you just have different standards.

Have you considered adding another kitchen? His and hers?

I think your wife may have ADD [poor executive function]. Srs. Not saying you shouldn't have expectations, just spreading awareness. This gal is a pretty good source on that:

Right? You can fix this one. Have a conversation. Ask her to check with you before committing your time.

Can fix. Maybe not nekkid, but I bet you could get her into tank tops and boy shorts if you ask. At least until the kids are a bit older.

IMO hoarding is a spectrum. For some "hoarding" is having any possessions you won't for sure use within a year or less. Sometimes it isn't the amount of stuff, but the type of stuff that people don't mesh on. And there are different levels of "clutter tolerance".

I don't like cluttered/dirty. But I keep more stuff than many people. I think I got that from my grandparents- all 4 were survivors of the Great Depression.

Am I a "first aid and toiletries" hoarder?

Some of it is legit, i.e. solid wood coffee table that was built in the 70s and still looks great. It's way passed time to get rid of it and get him a proper dresser. My wife moves **** around constantly.
The other day she moved my son's bedroom to another room for "reasons". When I asked, she gave a reason, but it made literally no sense to me, but was annoyed because even though I thought it was pointless, I knew she would be asking for my help in moving a bunch of heavy items.
A couple of days later I go to work and when I return everything was moved back into the original room, just rearranged slightly different from the previous setup. My mom also stopped by when I got home because she wanted to help/spend some time with the kid. She needed a diaper and a change of clothes for my son, so I go looking for them, and what do you know, I can't ****ing find them either because they all moved again and I have to go on another god damned scavenger hunt.

She also has no concept of how time works. We were planning to go over to her parent's house for dinner, but she said this was also a perfect time to stop by the clinic to get a drug screen needed for her new job, which is fine and all, except she knew the clinic closed at 3 pm and it was already 2:45 and the clinic was 25 minutes away according to Google maps and we haven't even left the house yet. She is rushing to try and get out of the house and I tell her it's pointless, we will never make it unless we could teleport there like in Star Trek. She says we still need to try, like wtf. After enough coercing she eventually concedes and we go straight to her parent's house.

Now we head back from her parent's house. It's already late and I have been urging my wife that we need to get the kid back home so we can put him to bed close to his normal schedule, but my wife decides to drop the idea of hitting up a 24-hour clinic to get her urinalysis. I ask her where this place is located and it's on the complete opposite side of the city from our house and would have been an hour detour at a minimum. I said no and that I am tired of ****ing up the kid's schedule because she has no time management or logistical skills. Plus I also wanted to get to bed at a decent time because I had a long day ahead of me the next day. She did her urinalysis the next day.

Sets like 25 alarms an hour before she will actually get up. She knows she won't get up, she will get up when she has 10 min every time, speed rush to bathroom, cause a chaotic scene of makeup, flat iron, brushes, etc.. So basically she just wakes me up for no reason. I tell her you basically cause me to lose 1 hour of sleep per day because you wont get up and know you won't. Still does it.

Second is part of one but the bathroom chaos, because she won't get up until 10 min until she has to leave. So I have timed myself cleaning up her mess and informed her if she would wake up like 48 seconds sooner she could clean it herself.

Third turns on the gas fire place, all lights, and tv (or every tv in the house) and then just goes to another room. Told her like 500 times to turn them off when leaving the room, still does it.

Takes on way more responsibility than she can personally handle resulting in everyone else having to pick up the load.

The only issue I really had, which changed after sitting down and communicating with her, is that as soon as I’m done with work, I had no free time to myself to physically, mentally and emotionally unwind and let my brain just go into a sort of safe mode.

If your wife doesn’t let you have this personal time, at least an hour, to just fkin chill and shake the stress off.. you should speak up. Regardless if it’s labor work or an office desk job. Sooner or later you will begin having resentment.

My wife refuses to put full garbage bags into the garbage bin, even when it's totally full. She'll try to stuff more in there and leave it to me to take it out.

Speaking of hoarding, my wife and plastic grocery bags.

One day at our old house I got fed up of the grocery bags tucked in every corner of the pantry and under sink. I decided to pull them all out and count them to make a point. Don't remember the exact number but it was in the 300s.

I ask her what the fuk she needs all the bags for and she always has some excuse about taking them to store to recycle or using them for taking dog on walk. Dog hasn't been on 300 walks in its life.

Was actually able to break that habit up until covid when they stopped letting people bring their own bags. Didn't take long before the stockpile of plastic grocery bags were taking over my house again
