2 years of French which was the minimum requirement for a foreign language at my high school.

My French teacher was bipolar or something.... or def on meds. One day she would be the happiest woman ever, and joke with us, laugh.

Next day she's upset yelling at us even if we got just 1 sentence wrong. So I didn't learn chit was happy to get a B or whatever, and foreign language over with.

Spanish, two years and it was my worst class both years. I started French my junior year, and sucked at it right from the start...so I ended up dropping it. Of course, in hindsight I kind of regret not taking it more seriously and actually trying to learn it.

Fortunately, due to being a Business major, two years was enough at the University I went to. Other departments required 4 years I think.

Italian.

It was only 1 of 2 schools in our city that taught Italian and both were Catholic HS.

DO HS teach Latin anymore.? My HS did.

Yeah but you need 90% plus avg in your last two years of HS to get into top universities here. So taking university prep (known as AP in the States) and getting chit marks is legit pointless and doesn't get you anywhere beyond your HS diploma lol

Well for the following business programs you need a 90%+ and extracurriculars - not familiar with engineering and other programs but I'd assume the top schools require similar grades

Queens, Western, UofT, McGill, Laurier

Yeah I hear UofT engineering is pretty boss

But check out Ivey, Queens business alumni - These kids legit get jobs at KKR, Morgan Stanley NYC etc.

Agree with the money thing for Queens and Western though
