Crab boat captain have the biggest trap limit in North America.

Been up since noon 2 days ago though just about to tie up for the day while it blows a storm.

Stay awake for 40+ hours so often I barely notice it anymore srs

Picked this username when I was 15 had no idea I would ever be a captain. Owe my success to the misc it raised me and turned me into the savage I am today at 30.

Lmao you would become a crab boat captain if you had to.

I'm the least experienced captain in the fleet by far and I worked on this boat for 5 years before I started running it, 90% of captains have 20+ years of experience job is legitimately dangerous as **** and can be stupidly lucrative.

Pretty much impossible to even get a job on deck these days.

Can't describe what bringing in a full boat feels like but it is incomparable to anything else I have ever felt legit love what I do.

Get treated with as much respect as doctors etc where I come from and make way more if you're good.

In the high range that sounds very lucrative. For the "average range.....it doesnt seem worth it to trade the stress and lack of sleep (shortened life) for money.

Time is the only thing that no man on earth can make. Money can be printed and made on a whim.
