Little video I took of taking my rottie to the land for the first time, had to mark where I need my soil test done for septic tank. No idea why there is a stove in the middle of the land, lmao. Has its own creek for water as well.

Was looking seriously in Arkansas but I can’t make a move until October and I’m sure rates will be fukked by then.
Took us over a year to find it. Land and houses here and selling so fukking fast its insane, made a bid on this within hours of it being listed.

Mirin
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

Very nice. You're bringing me back to a time when I also bought my property and did the exact same thing with my own Rottweiler(100% srs). A large part of our property decision at the time was getting enough land for him to run around on. He loved it here and I loved watching him stroll around. Sadly, he died less than 6 months after we moved here from kidney failure. Probably the most harrowing experience of my life to watch him die that way.

Really happy for you, OP. Enjoy this time you have together

I have been looking in TN for property as well. Utilities or planning on being self-sufficient?

When I was 17 I rolled a jeep down a mountain at Nantahala National Forest. Full lockers front and rear, all 4 wheels spinning on ice over to the side of a trail, and fell off the edge. rolled about 50' and trees stopped us. full roll cage, neither me nor friend had a scratch. same could not be said for the jeep.

Congrats OP. We have a little over 200 acres just south of you bordering the Cherokee national forest. Are you from east TN? I stay away from Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area as much as possible. Land has become way overpriced
