Let me guess they were all entilted single mothers who were projecting their frustrations on men, because they won't settle down with a worthless woman who doesn't bring anything to the table. they ranged from 23 to 33, mostly pretty attractive. No kids, no divorces. Each has good jobs, a few have their own houses. Quality women overall imo.

OP I'm sure they meant it, but maybe not as big a thing as you are thinking.

It isn't that different than miscers saying that a woman who has never married over 35 is likely not marriage material.

I would say the age is older for men though [40-ish] and an LTR [or two] makes a difference. Like a previous poster ITT who said he had an LTR that ended in his mid 30's.

Don't take it as a declaration that single men over 35 are unattractive ['cause that ain't it], more that if a man hasn't been in a committed relationship by middle age then odds are either they don't want to be in a committed monogamous relationship, OR maybe they do, but there is something up with them that has prevented it [attitude, addiction, mental illness, hygiene...some sort of deal breaker].

Yeah, she's probably right. I see the same thing in women who are also over 35 and never married. As well, when I meet people who are divorced, I start to realize why they are divorced. Just as well, happily married coupes are not that common. Most married couples, if they could walk away without any negative repercussions they would do it. Even if they could just walk away they would not be able to maintain the same lifestyle single. They just aren't miserable enough to go through a divorce and live with the degraded lifestyle being single.

One of my main issues is I'm not going to sign my life away to a woman that doesn't put my first.
