Fat woman slams airline after she struggled to fit in the seat (PICS)

- Kirsty Winklesack, 29, from Shropshire, recently shared video of experience on flight as a size 26 woman

- She complained that she struggled to fit down the plane's narrow aisle, couldn't use the tray table due to lack of space, and could barely move in the toilet cubicle

- "I travel regularly and flying is definitely one of the most stressful parts of travelling as a larger woman" she said "People act like being plus size is a choice/something to be ashamed of. It's not. To all the wonderful women out there rocking curves: you do you. Airlines: fix up! you should be inclusive to the public"

- Some people insisted Kirsty deserves to fly comfortably, while others felt the airlines shouldn’t have to change to accommodate plus size people

- Comments included:

"People saying that it's so easy to just lose weight. Some people have diseases and metabolism issues and it would be difficult for them to do so"

"I love you girl"

"Stop moaning toad woman. You brought this on yourself by eating that extra curry"

"Sitting next to a fatty on a plane is a nightmare. I don't want a giant doughball squashing me"

"Some people are so damn rude. It's not her fault the airline can't accommodate people!"

Well considering how many people are fat, the airlines should accommodate them.

Because I don't want them jammed into a tiny fuking seat next to me.

That being said. The airlines should accommodate people over 6 foot tall as well, cause getting on a plane as a 6'3 person is horrible too.

Bro there is a woman who does admin for my department who just switched doctors because she told her to lose weight. In her words she "Yelled at her doctor" for fat shaming her, and is tired of "fat phobic, unprofessional behavior displayed by her doctor". This same woman also underwent a procedure and was embarrassed that her anesthesiologist wanted to confirm her weight prior so they could properly dose her.

Are the seats or aisles even smaller in the UK than in the US? I've sat next to a bigger woman than that before. Big enough that her arms were fully extended sitting on her belly.

Double seats should be convertible to single seats

If you weigh over 300lbs you should be required to buy two tickets and get a double.

6’8 320 checking in, I buy two seats not only for my comfort but so whoever is next to me doesn’t have my arms and shoulders in their face the entire flight. If you want to be fat (and it 100% is a personal choice) you have to accept what goes along with it and shell out the dough for another seat or fly first class, anything otherwise is just selfish.
