I remember when Never Back Down came out. I must have been 17 or so.

At that point (think it was pre transformers Megan Fox) she was the hottest chick I’d ever seen.

Around the time the movie came out there was a mens magazine with her on it so I snagged it. Beat my **** to all her pics and finally read the article.

I remember in it she explicitly stating that one day she would settle down but “until them I’m going to sleep with as many people as possible”

That's true! You're right that many people turn to substances to cope with their dysfunctional relationship. But those are still his words and he said those things, and he's a crazy person just like her. I see evidence that he was a drunken loser 20 years her senior, and freaked out when the woman who was supposed to be his submissive little bi trophy wife actually tried to get him to clean up his pathetic manchild act. They're both toxic lunatics together and I'm fascinated by her personality disorder diagnosis but his CPTSD. I've said forever that men will always have the luxury of PTSD but for women it's borderline, histrionic, etc.

I'm curious, why do you make excuses for him fighting back but not her? They were both abusive to one another. (I also might be missing key elements of this case, I haven't been watching it live!)

Yeah, obviously the Psychological link is what keeps you there.
