online dating is a fukin numbers game. nobody is hardly ever anyone's first choice because someone better is always just one swipe away. its the toxic game we all voluntarily play. but its fun srs.

So to follow up on my two year relationship ending I made a thread about a few days ago, I ended up thinking about it actually apologized. It made me feel better in a sense, she was a sweetheart and I was a cold fish lately. She opened up quite a bit, never underestimate the ability of a simple follow up question like "what do you mean?" and an answer can go from a short sentence to a paragraph. The same type of communication skills I let fall by the way side the last couple of months. Most of my exe's I've actually gotten back with after some time, I'm not thinking it's outside the realm of possibility here
The strange thing is this doesn't seem like the hardest breakup I've ever had even though she was the best girlfriend I've had, like it's devastating on one hand to potentially lose someone forever that you care deeply for but I feel like at this point I've been through this now 5 times with LTR and countless flings that might of left me disappointed after they fizzled out, it's not the end of the world. On the upside It's give a spark to reignite things in life that are novel and emotionally compelling
I'm excited to get back on the apps but I'm also here or there emotionally which might throw off my vibe. Any advice on how to approach things? Went NC on the girl I was seeing. I felt no connection and while she was pretty I just didn't find myself attracted to her. The second date was the nail in the coffin though.
