My point remains the same. In a lot of those places frugality is a necessity rather then a choice. Based on the friends I have from Europe that came to America and very 'quickly' adapted to the typical American lifestyle. Cars, new phones, clothes, other material items, etc.

The highest average monthly temperature in a country like Germany is 23 degrees. LOL @ buying airco that you won't use for more than a few days in an entire year. Try Greece or Southern Spain and suddenly you'll see poorer countries down south even have air conditioning. I'd assume more people in Florida have airco as compared to Canada as well.

I actually looked it up. There's estimated to be 600k homeless in the USA and 32k in the Netherlands. But your population is also roughly 19-20 times bigger. I wonder where all the homeless are in the Netherlands wtf. Because the rates are pretty much the same.

Are you claiming summers don't exist in Germany? I'm a military brat, I lived in Germany for 3 years growing up. Luckily it was on a military base, and we had air conditioning.

Average temperatures for June and July are 23 degrees. If there's two peak weeks of 30-35 (about 85-90) degrees that wouldn't be a reason for me to justify a huge investment. That's not too bad at all. If we keep seeing record breaking heatwaves it might be time to adjust but that does seem to be a more recent occurance.

I don't think living in a climate where air conditioning isn't needed is something to brag about, no.

I just dropped in the mention that BELGIUM IS 90+% WHITE. Labor participation rate is 70%, They don't have large populations of degenerates rotting their culture. Don't worry though, every European country is having busloads of migrants with no education or sense dropped off daily. Now they have to worry about Russian tanks too.
