Trump is going to be charged in GA or election fraud (and possibly NY for his shady business practices). The J6 committee is pretty damning, but it's just a media circus for political purposes to turn voters against him. There will be no actual charges from that.

I can only assume trump had no idea just how treasonous obama people could be.
The problem is, many people need to be approved by the senate in order to get the position, and the senate, including the SSCI, is the swamp. So there will never be a nonswamp person in an important role (unless out there as an acting director, etc). We saw that with grennell, and oh man did the swamp squirm.

There are too many layers of bureaucracy to get in the way of actual reform.

They have had this for 2 years. And its one of the worst times in US history. Their policies have been a complete failure at every level.

IMO Trump is still far too polarizing and he has an excellent chance of losing, still. It was different in 2016 when there was uncertainty about him and he seemed to have limitless potential. He did a lot of good (no wars and the economy was incredible) but his gigantic ego and the never-Trumpers held him back tremendously. I don't see things being much different if he should win in 2024.

DeSantis is a much younger, less egotistical, and more intelligent version of Trump. Look at everything he's been able to pass and accomplish in the last few years. Being banned off of Twitter really did help with Trump's image, though, so who knows.
