Thing with incels vs the traditional "monogamous" married man... there isnt that much difference. A lot of guys just married the first sloot that showed interest in them and that sloot wasnt even attracted to them they just saw a beta provider for either themselves and/or their existing kids. I know multiple guys like this. And the amount of middle aged "normal" married guys I hear that complain or say marriage is a trap or openly talk about future divorce and finding a different chick is pretty shocking. Its not what you would expect based on what you were told in childhood.

Every guy is totally obsessed with looks, and for most incels that's a bad situation. There's a lot more to a woman than just what she looks like. Just like there is with guys. It's how sometimes you see a guy who looks like a 5 land a girl who's an 8 in terms of looks. They are probably into the same things, he's funny or has other qualities she likes (and yes, that can be wealth).

You can have a 9 who is smoking hot, but can't carry a conversation and is on her phone 24/7 with zero life goals beyond her Instagram story. That's really unattractive to me personally. It's pretty rare that a really hot girl will also be intelligent, ambitious and have a compatible sex drive. They bounce from relationship to relationship because the guys they date end up getting sick of them. I know tons of really hot women who are chronically single because they are idiots and have zero to offer most men long term besides arm candy, and even then they are such a PITA it's not worth it.

Incels would be much better off looking for qualities other than looks and actually seek out women they are compatible with.

People aren’t as social nowadays, and females don’t need a man. In the past, you’d have a girl search out these types of guys and try to “change” or “improve” them. Even if the relationship didn’t last, the guys would come out a better man for relationships.

Nowadays, girls are looking for guys to come as more of a finished product. And these guys have no idea how to be that on their own. And they don’t get the opportunities to improve.

There’s been a ton of articles out there citing studies that show “women are more attractive than men”. Thinking about it objectively, I figure people are about equal representations of their genetics, so the attractive part basically comes down to men wanting to bone anything, and women not wanting attractive women to define what an attractive woman is. So here we are, waiting for the next idiot to get on the news because his elbows are too pointy and somebody has to pay for it.

Probably a lot of the time. But mostly they can't get girls in their league, or even slightly below their league, because those women have inflated senses of their value and think their too good for a guy on their level.

Please, show any objective type of study to back up your claim that women never date down even slightly unless it's for status/financial reasons, and that when it happens the women who do it lack loyalty and will cheat or make the man's life hell.

That latter part is the most over the top stereotype I've heard, it's like radical feminists stating that every man is a closet rapist.

i'm sure it's been said but partly, yes incels are way too picky. but the dating market is just so brutal now. a solid 6/10 well groomed guy can no longer expect a slim well groomed 6/10 girlfriend unless he also money, social clout, etc etc OR until he is old and the 6/10 chick is at an age where she is hitting the wall. and i doubt it will change because these guys will literally wife up a used 3/10 single mum 35 fat when they get the chance. so women will just get away with it. i do think there will be a huge older female population though that was relatively good looking that will never settle. will be interesting to see.

I don't know about all that but it's been conclusively proven on dating apps that women are exponentially less likely to match with someone below their level, or even on the same level, as men. Whereas men will swipe right on women on their level or below their level literally over 1000% more than women will.

Now clearly real life is different to dating apps but the same trends still apply. Anyone can find plenty of examples that buck the trend but as any 8th grade school kid should be able to tell you, anecdotal examples are meaningless when analysing data on a large scale.

EDIT: Y'know what? In my defense of this delusion...something that needs to be mentioned is that for many men, HE is also his gfs/wife second-choice. So even if I dated down i would still be in a bad place if my gf felt like she was settling.

Someone else mentioned many women once they dig their heels about not settling they will wait it out and dig their heels in, get eggs frozen, etc. hoping that Chad comes along....that's what theyve been led to believe their entire lives.

ugly guys still get ugly girls and hot guys still get hot girls. Average guys are the ones getting hit hard by dating apps. They gotta settle for ugly girls now while their average counterparts are getting bottomed out by Chads.
