What retaliation from whom?

Again, you are acting like Ukraine is under American protection. It isn't. We wouldn't even put troops on the ground. Why would we nuke Russia only to doom ourselves all on behalf of Ukraine? Biden has already signaled he wouldn't do that.

To instantly force capitulation and to hit the "Nazi's" in their self declared capital. WTF is tact nuking the "frontlines" going to do when its hundreds of miles long?

It's under Chinese protection, retard. Their original belt and road treaty has a clause that China will use nukes in case someone tried to nuke the Ukies.

But anyway, Russia as an agressor using nukes would at the very least result in a Gulf War tier Western coalition going all ham and you can bet that other nuclear powers would tag along, since absolutely nobody wants to normalise the use of nuclear weapons.

Seriously, it's been 6+ months of weekly nuclear saber rattling.

You're talking about an entirely different weapon system.

If we won't do it publicly, it isn't a real commitment. You understand that not a single American would risk annihilation on behalf of Ukraine, right? It isn't a credible threat. The US would not do anything except economically isolate Russia and make demands of the UN.

You think China will help Ukraine against Russia?

Are you joking?

China approved of the war. Also, Belt and Road has no such clause. It is not a treaty either.

Yeah they would form a coalition...and do nothing. There is no power to retaliate without annihilation. You don't seem to understand the situation. We are not immortal. Our power has limits. America is not invincible, and it is not capable of winning a nuclear war with Russia, nor would any such engagement have anything resembling a winner. Russia is, however, fully capable of winning a nuclear war with Ukraine, which is why this is all so stupid.

We going to act like Poland would be OK with tact nukes being dropped right on their border? Come on, the more I think about it the more I just come to the conclusion Ill wake up one day this week and Poots will be dead. He made massive failures at every turn during this war.

What is Poland going to do exactly? There are only 3 players who can respond, and none have any reason to do anything due to the risks to themselves. Poland is not one of those players.

The US wants Putin to do it. We want to economically isolate Russia. What better way than that? The Ukrainians should have thought harder before trusting Americans.

"Chinese President Xi Jinping and then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych signed the agreement on Dec. 5, 2013, promising that China’s nuclear forces would protect Ukraine from nuclear threats. The bilateral treaty described the two states as “strategic partners.”

“China pledges unconditionally not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against the nuclear-free Ukraine and China further pledges to provide Ukraine nuclear security guarantee when Ukraine encounters an invasion involving nuclear weapons or Ukraine is under threat of a nuclear invasion,” a joint statement on the pact said."

Cope harder.

I don't know what to say to you if you think that Russia would seriously consider rolling the dice on playing nuclear chicken against every single nuclear power on the planet.

Too much hope.

But no.

Poland would freak the fuk out just like everyone else.

Imagine this and let it sink in and truly think about it. Russia tac nukes a middle sized to small city that manufacturer a weapon system in Ukraine.

What happens then?

It's either nothing (capitulation) or escalation.

Russia should be capable of taking out a weapons manufacturing location in Ukraine without a nuke. What does Russia gain by using a nuke?

Poland will be a top 5 military player in the next 10 years. They would have the west backing them if they did put boots in Ukraine, and what better way to build a relationship with someone you could train your military with for the next 30 years?

That is how OPSEC works, loose lips sink ships. You can run everyone's ip including your own. You've been making claims about what you think you know about this operation right from the start. I've just sat by quietly reading and for the most part stayed out of it.

Thank you Ivan, very cool.

China wouldn't do it out of the goodness of their heart, it's their own interest that their retarded neighbours don't go shooting off nukes and stay in line. They could just ask for/take Siberia as a reward.

Absolutely nothing. NATO barely exists. The nuclear umbrella was never a credible threat. It was always fluff. It makes no sense for America, France, or the UK to risk annihilation to protect the other countries.

American Marine who is involved in the war in Ukraine is Troy Oftenbecker (may be inaccuracies in the surname). Troy has military experience, participating in the storming of the Iraqi city of Fallujah.

Man, if only those Poles were in some kind of military alliance where members are obligated to retaliate in case an outside force attacks one of them...
