Bro that's what I'm trying to say here. No one is nuking anyone. Although they really love their "muhh nukezz" schtick, the ruskies know that british and french each have a couple of hundred nuclear war heads literally in front of their doorstep. Doesn't matter if you're the size of NY state or size of Russia and China together, you can't protect yourself from a retaliation strike from nuclear submarines.

There will be no Nato troops in Ukraine also after there's a full mobilization by russia. If poots declares general mobilization the ruskies in their T-72 and T-62 will have to fight the ukies in Leopards and Abrahams though while F-16s guard the air. Also ATACMS will be delivered in large amounts. The gloves will be off for advanced western weaponry.

“Exactly what he will say remains unknown, but the address will be his first such speech since the eve of the conflict on February 24, and his defence minister Sergei Shoigu is expected to join him.

It comes after his propagandist Margarita Simonyan, Editor-in-Chief of state-run RT, claimed that the country is on the brink of a nuclear war.“

Everyone is so scared.

No. Also how fukking dumb is this of Poots? Ukraine mobilized MONTHS ago. How tf do they expect to train men and send them into war and make anything meaningful gains? This is a war or smarts and artillery. More bodies isn’t going to fix the situation but what it will do is cause massive resentment and protest daily in Russia. As well as home grown terrorist attacks.

LOL if you think they aren't. They are fighting the war on behalf of not only Russia, but every country fuked by the US. Half this planet stands with them. You don't understand what NATO means or how it is viewed by the rest of the world. This is the West vs the Rest.

So uh - which country is going to join Russia in a war against the US and NATO, Japan, South Korea, Australia? Over their failed invasion of Ukraine?

Be specific.

Depends on which countries become co-belligerents in Ukraine. Right now, it is officially just Russia vs Ukraine. You should fear India committing to Russia. There is a decent chance that if Russia were faced with annihilation, India would stand with them. And we already know China has claimed a NO LIMITS partnership. That means China is deeply committed to Russia to the bitter end against the United States. If India decides to officially side with Russia, that will be the end of American power in Asia.

Putin at this point is acting out of pure desperation. It would be a blood bath for the russians. They don't have the time to prepare so it will just be a numbers game, how many poor ruskies can you throw into a NATO weapon meat grinder until you overrun the Ukies. Let's hope it's not coming to this because a lot more people will be dead on both sides.

You have to look at both sides. There's a lot of propaganda so most reports on who is winning are bs at any given moment. But over the course of months, they can't really hide which territory is controlled by whom. You can see overall who is winning or losing from that. As far as analysis of the causes of the war, I'd recommend looking at what professors of international relations and security studies have to say about it. There is an ongoing debate between two camps of IR scholars, the liberals and the realists, over the root causes of the war. You can also look at what Russian and Ukrainian historians have to say about the buildup to it. I've spent months reading about it from each pov and ultimately came to the conclusion that Russia had moral, material, and strategic causes for this war. There is no clearcut good guy or bad guy, and ultimately Ukrainian people suffer severely from this war, and the whole world is facing economic fallout. I will say that the US has been very irresponsible in its actions, and we helped contribute to this war.

Against Russia if you used nukes? Are you kidding me? Again, who exactly, do you think will come to your aid? Or do you really claim Russia can make WW3 on its own?

Bruh what do you think the military exercises were supposed to signify? Do you understand what SCO exists for?

If you think India will ever turn on Russia, you know nothing about India's history with Russia. There was a time not too long ago when America was going to bomb the chit out of India, and the USSR saved their asses. The Indians will never forget that. They have a deep friendship with Russia, and America won't be able to change that. Ever.

And China has been BFF with Russia for years. China is an emerging superpower and Russia's real lifeline economically. I guarantee you Xi gave Putin the green light.

US is such a big dump that migrants from all over the world risk their lives to come to America. I bet you if you offer those migrants a free ticket to Russia they'd happily run back to their home countries instead.

I recommend watching these videos. I'll add stuff. I have like a scrapbook.

For the buildup to the war:

-Excellent historical summary of the situation in Ukraine as well as the US' role in it

-Prescient description of a realist perspective on the Ukraine situation prior to the war and a description of Russia's security concerns.

-More detail about the POV not presented in the media and the historical issues with Ukraine and Russia.

-Ambassador Jack Matlock's perspective on the Ukraine situation prior to the war and American strategy.

For the war now:

-The basic debate between liberals and realists over the war's causes and what the US foreign policy should be.

-A description of the consequences of the war to the world.

-A debate over how best to end the war and America's objective.

What prices spiking again

Up about 5% for the day - highest in over 2 months - and around the 2007 price this time of year.

8.92 as of now - there is a 9.00 stop upper limit today
