Where do you Doomers live? Yes, society is collapsing socially and economically, but people are still pretty damn social where Im at (Northeast). And they still go out and do stuff all the time/have hobbies too. Clown world is definitely winning, but from my perspective people seem to just be going along with it without thinking about it.

That's what concerns me personally, people acting like this dystopia is normal, like a bunch of NPCs. Maybe that's you guys issue too. You don't like how people are just falling into dystopia with no self awareness/resistance. But that will change soon when it all becomes unsustainable. If you think it's bad now, think about the next gen. This is all they'll know.

But it was the last generation to live without the internet. In fact, my generation grew up without it and got it in late teens/adulthood. I guess you could say we were the last generation of “explorers”.
Casual sex now is a good thing so nobody can pass down their braindead/ugly genetics, but why was it bad then? People were much hotter in the 90s.

Yeah definitely, if you are actually 43 then yes. Yeah and by exploring your world you were probably the last generation with all of their braincells in tact. E.g, in the 90s, in order to plan a trip you had to study a physical map and learn the routes, then check your bed sized map with tiny text while you're driving, then imagine when you made a wrong turn. Now Google maps has an interactive map and a little voice telling you what to do and people still mess up. So many different examples to choose from. Actually, since you've pretty much been in both eras, do you prefer a world with all these screens or a world without? I mean all this new technology has it's uses. But I feel as if it's been used more and more incorrectly over the past number of years.

It really is the overdose of dopamine we get all the time. Everytime I do softcore version of "dopamine detox" I become different man. I did this this year for several months and I was the most productive I have ever been in my life.

And I miss 2000-2010 times like a hell.

Nah, people who got older in their adulthood 20 years ago had insane upbringings and were solid functioning humans. Look at the stuff I listed in the top post.

Well I'm actually talking about adults, I'd assume younger people are even worse since they were born long after the issues started. Guys/Women my age/older confuse me because they had epic upbringings just like me and ended up weird freakshow awkward ***gots. Like who cares about gluten content and anime dolls/politics at age 20-30 whilst dressing like a nerd at 30%bf scrolling all day? Somethings not right, pre 2011 nobody could fit that weird criteria.

worst habit 90% of Americans have now is picking up their phone first thing when they wake up and looking at it/scrolling.

In b4 it’s quicker at the hotel. Are the 5-10 minutes it takes you to travel to a gym close by really that critical? And it would actually save you time once there because you’re not trying to rig up some weird luggage weights.

This video is click bait plain and simple. Plitt is one of my favorite physique guys but he was a master at marketing.
Again, it is just a good idea when you're short for time. Most guys just use a hotel as a place to sleep and are otherwise on the move. Muscles don't understand true weight so lateral raising anything for a weekend is fine.

Yeah, I've been to loads of hotels. Worked at one once just for fun.

But yes I agree, I guess it's down to if u can be bothered.

Also notice that nobody is doing compounds here. Just a quick set.

This video is a trailer for a dvd. Same here, he had an epic physique and just looked cool while doing his thing unlike fitness guys now.

Yeah I don't get why people are okay with this. Nobody has a happy balance. All the people that are social just seem like loonies just acting outgoing.

When you look at the animal kingdom their behaviour hasn't changed in 100s of years. Why? Their environment hasn't changed too much other than global warming caused by humans. Even the smallest of shifts could have a knock on effect for them but their equilibrium basically stays the same. Look at what happened to us when we introduced gadgets that could disconnect us socially, ie, phones. People are on these things for 8+ hours throughout a typical day, have a full time job involving staring at screens, hop in a car which has an interior covered in screens, go home and relax by watching TV/going online, then have hobbies playing videogames. Lol?? Basically the entire population has a life like this then wonder why they're messed up and self diagnose bullcrap that isn't real.

A screen filled life has been a thing even before 2010 (much less common), but that perfect equilibrium of keeping screens local to their alone/indoor time has been destroyed by phones.

Pre 2010 had the average person watching 1, possibly 2 hours max of screen time (of any kind) for the entire day. Now in 2022, 14+ hours then the rest is sleep lol.

Funny thing to note, in that comparison the person pre 2010 probably did so much in that random day whilst the 2022 person achieved nothing.

Man people are crazy, in a weird way his time around since nobody cares about the mental damage I'm sure they're doing.

There are studies that are now showing that social media is showing an increase in “autistic like social behavior“. Ded srs before 2012, there were no documented cases of a female transgender either. that is also a new phenomenon.

Yeah this is a good point. Most socializing i see the people seem like they are acting social instead of actually letting it happen naturally. I see dudes saying bro in every sentence now and just talking about the most boring topic and laughing at something they saw on a movie or social media. That's hardly socializing to me. Idk what happened man. I remember 10 years ago we had conversations that blew any convo i've heard since 2015 away. Talking deep intellectual discussions, debates, locker room talk and we could talk about 30 different things in the span of 4+ hours. You just never see this anymore. The average person couldn't even socialize for an hour straight nowadays it's impossible because of the phones and social media.

Reading stuff like this I makes me realise how unlucky I was to not have this era around anymore.

I did just post an epic lesbian myspace video but it disappeared so whatever.

Yeah I don't get why kids even have phones. They just walk by with a phone as big as them lol?? Asking their mum to pick them up after school? Haha. I would freak out if I was given a £1200+ gadget at age 7, now it's just expected.

Hahaha!! I did something like that, in my case I memorised my friends landline telephones (can remember them all now), they were written on postit notes and stuck on my fridge.

Man even the novelty of going through that kind of effort just to contact someone in your village made stuff so much more interesting. Now stuff is stale and boring, it just doesn't mean anything with smartphones/social media by being able to instantly communicate with no effort.

Yeah I was listening to Justin Timberlakes older music and it still sounds awesome. There's like 0 effort in producing a song now, nothing is catchy/memorable, it's just crap. Same with movies.

I think people now have created placebo interactions online so they don't feel compelled to interact with anybody in real life. People are so not all there now. I'm sure 90's people were the best especially since people were all living very similar lives. Now clowns are all over the place doing freaky things, nobody just does cool things and has normal hobbies whilst not looking/talking like a bender weirdo.

Of course I'm 50 and older people tend to look back at their younger years with nostalgia, but you're right there is 0 effort into music now. Top Gun Maverick was the best movie this year and it's a sequel from the 80s. There just isn't the same originality.

People stare at screen and watch Netflix. I have to go out of my way to socialize with people by going to concerts and sporting events where you actually interact with people without a screen. Of course at concerts everyone has their phone up recording the concert, but at least there's SOME interaction.

No doubt about it man. It's because ppl live on these online echo chambers all day now and dont get enough social time irl. There should at least be a balance but like me and op said many people do not even go outside and do anything or talk to people anymore they are on their screens 8+ hours per day. That's just the average person.

I don't think u read the top post properly. I'm shining a light on the fact that culture isn't hardcore/has gotten soft and that all people do now is stay indoors and play on screens all day long with out having physical hobbies. The average guy is a wimp.

What the heck is a zoomer? I thought it was that sport where guys are in speedos/aero helmets and they jog fast enough without running. The way ur saying it doesn't make sense. Who cares about joggers, I don't even see people jogging much, let alone have people care enough about fitness to have all the necessary equipment, most people just walk with no sense of direction/spacial awareness. I saw a guy bump into a lady selling flowers and he just grunted as the flowers fell everywhere. What the heck, a guy 10 years ago would apologize and probably end up getting eachothers numbers. Man, people have 0 hobbies anyways, I don't get it, males in 2000 were so much more epic/active than the sad sack wimps we have now.

This

People don't even walk with a purpose anymore just aimlessly walking into things because they are always looking at their phones or have air pods in. 0 hobbies. I can't even remember the last time I met a dude with any hobbies or swag. Nobody talks about anything epic just movies and the internet lol

these are fine options, as we develop the life we want to live and then we can choose to enjoy it the way we want until we die, there is nothing else this world has to offer anyways besides just having a good time and experiencing what you WANT to experience.

from school age to entering the workforce you are forced to be more social and build skills and learn all sorts of things, but once you get into your set career, your house, your family, etc.... you no longer have any need to branch out

so thats why 30s - 40s people become dramatically more boring

then 40 and beyond people get fully invested in parenting and 50 beyond they start dying/facing mortality/retirement

I would otherwise agree, but the fact that the 90s/00s happened, this just isn't the case at all. People were always outgoing and had a source of fun despite having jobs or being academic. Most guys were just juvenile/fun for the sake of it. Everyone was together talking and nobody had this imaginary bubble weirdos have now. I agree, but people don't do what they want, they're just stuck on screens all day for some braindead reason so nobody experiences anything proper. Do u really think a guy in the 90s would care about a safezone or some mental pampering bullcrap? I don't think so, he'd just laugh and talk about cars/chop some wood or whatever. Nobody is tough.

You know, way back before when Japan was all about peace and happiness (think of those ancient paintings), it was literally the number 1 place to be in terms of crime and stuff, later on it was much more advanced than anywhere on this planet even in the 80s/90s. Why? It was because the average Japanese guy was working far too hard, basically all day just nonstop work. There was no such thing as being a slob. Even those machine like humans were getting worn out and they were literally killing themselves. (Suicide rate spiked) That's when Japan introduced those insane game shows to help sort their lives out, mentally. (Those games shows that we laugh at because it looks so crazy.)

Ask that Samuraiwise guy, the Japanese user on here, I'm sure he was in Japan when this shift happened.

If an entire country can pull off something like that with means to help people, I sure hope something like that happens on a worldwide scale to help our quality of lives where screen time is heavily cut off. Which inadvertently gets the people who are allergic to moving fit and healthy. If generation after generation we keep having inactive slobs reproducing, just imagine what will happen. People in the 90s/00s were much much hotter than the people now and that was only 1 generation ago.

Everyone's a braindead zombie that's addicted to their phones and has lost all forms of critical thinking. They're just emotional little muted cucks with ruined reward systems from being on social media and pronz all day.

Pre 2012 was GOAT. Chicks were bubbly and feminine, dudes engaging in locker room talk and manly hobbies and society in general just felt innocent, authentic and in the moment. Much happier and connected. There was a rhythm and you could feel it.

Now everything is low test, passive aggressive, no personality and bitter. No social skills, no individuality, no nothing. Some people do recognize it but they're far too addicted to their phones, social media, netflix, whatever. Just low IQ chit. They're literally experiencing the same symptoms as drug addicts.

Plus now everyone looks like absolute chit. Don't even look human anymore. Just look like obese linebackers and jubba the hut from star wars. Odd shaped bodies and very unflattering plus they dress like the next person. Just retarded clones of each other.

I think some people are afraid to interact because everyone is always filming. Like dudes can act like men and then some soyboy or feminist will film them and report them or something. Idk but this clown shiit sucks.
Yeah every dude is low t and docile now. I mean obviously some high test dudes still exist but it's rare and those men are likely in their early-mid 20's and just part of clown world blissfully unaware of chit. Even 40 yo men need trt nowadays.

Nobody i know my age has high t srs. Not sure what happened.

This is the average physique in 2022

greed and narcissism happened on top of a demoralization campaign by our political enemies targeting young people through corrupting the education system.

and poof.

its all gone wrong.

We reminisced about high school years and college. It was a unanimous, we were ALL thankful that no video or social media evidence exists for all the **** we did. Sex, saying non-clownworld approved things, racist/sexist jokes, making fun of ****g0ts... Just great memories and nothing that someone else can hold against us.

Kids growing up now are ****ed. Rewind like 12 years ago - most people didn't have smartphones. Now literally everyone does, all all those pics, videos, etc aresomewhere.
Haha! Thanks for the story/writeup

Yeah, reading that is actually pretty sad. People don't meet up after years and years, it's like nobody wants to. Nobody really meets up in a reunion type setting after school despite having so much fun at one point in time. It was common from maybe the 1900s up to around 2011. Actually, people leaving school in even 2007 are not meeting up 10 years later in 2017, just 2 completely different eras. Most people are content just to check someones ******** profile. Like what is that, so ridiculous. Completely kills the novelty of catching up with friends you used to hang out with all day everyday for like 14+ years.

See this video here. People seeing their long lost friends with genuine fun and laughter after 12 years. Now that's a good experience. Something people won't experience anymore thanks to the uprising of being ever so connected through social media.

I don't know who these people are though lol. It doesn't matter, they're just really fortunate to have this to look back on. Just like you I'd assume. Also people back then just looked kinder and seemed more happy to socialise and have genuine conversations about life. (Irrespective of the video) Now people put it on for show. No tact at all. I can tell too.

I mean why is everything recorded now, people are creating all kinds of crazy for the sake of it.

Exactly, you and ur friends clowning around together talking crap to eachother was probably the most fun we could have. Fast forward to now and nobody cares. It's like people now just want to zap the fun out of everything and now nobody has proper memories to reminisce on. So sad.

Thanks for sharing though, when was ur friends wedding/reunion thing? Have u met ur friends since highschool?

90s were pretty good but 2000-2009 was definitely the overall GOAT decade for me. Then yeah...things overall went downhill quite a bit after that.

Another 50 year old and I are both in rhe empty nest syndrome so we are trying new activities and going to concerts and NFL games. I learned stand-up paddle boarding and surfing, went to an apple orchard to go apple picking yesterday, kayaking, sailing, painting, costume parties, biking to wineries for wine tasting, etc. I could LDAR but I’d rather live life to the fullest at age 50.
