imagine not buying gold miners now. literally a oppertunity of a lifetime they are so cheap.

once the pain REALLY starts, and some big name companies have to filed for bankrupty, the fed will pivot, and inflation will win the fight.

gold goes absolutely parabolic when this happens.

Nah. There will be demand for bonds once they signal they are done with hikes. They’ll just have to eat absolutely monster losses on the bonds they sell.

Macro peeps, do you think inflation will ever revert back to 2%? In my uneducated opinion, I doubt that ever happens. I'm not saying it'll stay at 8% forever, but 4% or so is my base case, barring some miraculous technological innovation that creates new industries or drives productivity. Thinking about locking in some fixed income at 5% or so when it gets there to diversify away from stonks but also making sure my purchasing power stays alive

I definitely think it's possible the days of crazy growth + low inflation are behind us, in no small part because we may have already seen peak China

Does anyone know how options work when 2 companies merge? TGA and EGY are merging and each share of TGA turns into 0.67 shares of EGY. Do $3 calls turn into $4.5 calls? I'm uncertain how tf this goes.

something very interesting happened today via bond/yield/market pricing of next Fed meeting.

50BPS just gained big vs 75bps.

look at that drop via yesterday.

this could be very dangerous if market thinks Fed is gonna slow it down and gets it wrong.

or moon time toward 3900-3950 before year end if 50BPS is done.

Fed wanted markets to drop not crash. They’ll dial back they wanted to see signs of a contracting economy. Jobless numbers up and equity values at year long lows. I think 0.25 could be in play if we see 300-330. 0.5 if it’s higher than that.

Those futures not looking so hot atm.

Better hold of buying anything.

This is as close it can get before crash. No mans land is 3500 on SP 500.

June 16 believe it not market was on brink from crashing.

Can they save it next few days.

They need this quarter to end asap before shiit starts taking water.

If you look at where Apple was when market June low hit.

Apple losing now $150 and going toward $130ish.

Market (SP500) would have another 200-250 points before some bottom considering Apple weight on most indexes.

Looks like whatever happened over night has calmed down.

This is shiitload of basing and trapping.

Bear rally should be long over due by now. Unless we crashing.

Whats wild is that Bank of England has gone completely Turkey.

This is surreal in time where UK is having to subsidize energy costs / inflation not stopping and pound losing value every day.

They are now going to start QE again. (not a joke)
