Reading some of the posts, apparently Piers was calling Tate a misogynist because he said he prefers young women without a high body count. Piers apparently said that anything negative against women is misogyny.

How Tate should've responded is by saying that he was not disparaging women in general. He was comparing one subset of women (young, low body count) to another (older, higher body count) and saying that one is more desirable. He was saying something negative about one (larger) subset of women, but he was also saying something positive about another subset of women. This is not misogyny. Likewise, women's comments about not wanting to date men under 6' (which comprises most men) wouldn't be considered misandry.

People in this thread said Piers successfully strawman'd him. If he responded how I did, then he didn't. The only reason there is an edit in my post is because I read the thread after posting and then responded to what I read.

There are other reasons I don't think Tate is that smart. For example, in one video, he said he would never befriend a guy who doesn't get pussy or who is broke because they would screw him over. He directly follows that by saying loyalty is the most important thing to him in a friend. So... he only befriends people whose loyalty isn't really being tested, but loyalty is the most important thing to him. He constantly contradicts himself like that and his opinions aren't usually very well thought out. In one video he said he would rather have a male pilot since men deal with stress better, but male and female pilots and not random samples of men and women and female pilots are probably considerably less representative of the average of their gender since they are going against the grain pursuing a male dominated profession. Never mind how men are more reckless and that's why they get into more car accidents.

And thats your problem man. Like the average person, you let others dictate how you think and what to believe instead of trying to actually think for yourself and come up with your own opinion. Its one of the main problems of humanity in general, any person can make up whatever bull**** they think or they want to believe and say it out loud, and people will decide to believe it too because they are too lazy to come up with their own opinion or take the time to reflect or analyze things properly.

At the end of the day you've made up your mind before even reading or seeing anything because that is what you want to believe, and you dont want to change your mind. So its pointless trying to talk you out of it, you simply dont want to.

I’m guessing the full interview goes differently. Piers put this preview up for a reason.

Also part of this new Tate which tries to deliver his message more carefully. Personally I instead understand, you’re already banned, do what you do. Piss the right people off.

I got a slight sense that Tate was a little overwhelmed/uncomfortable by the flashy show, interview with Piers, etc. I think this probably messed up his ability to rebutle logically. Me at home watching that video on YouTube, I came up with better responses to all the questions/insinuations.

Other than that, he handled well and had composure. He didn't interrupt, I think Piers expected him to. Piers kept interrupting him, correlated an irrelevant 14 years old depression suicide story to dig the dagger deeper. I liked what Tate said as closure.

I don't think he was manhandled, I just think he wasn't a giant alpha/ass-hole during the interview like people expected.

I dont think his goal is to piss people off. He's probably aiming for something much greater than being the internet biggest *******. Which i like because that way at least people will be a little bit more open to hear his message rather than instantly decide they hate him and that he has nothing of value to say

I think we're in for a great interview, the fact this 5-minute video was the best clip of piers, when in reality he makes andrew look more mature by staying patient at his insane amount of interruptions. I agree interrupting and talking over someone when you genuinely have a better point will make you look better or in misc terms mog the other person. If you do an extreme amount of interruptions without a good point and constantly pulling the conversations to irrelevant stuff, it does not make you look better thus does not mog the other person. That is why a screaming liberal is not mogging someone by screaming over them

no hate but Tate came off as a complete beta in that video, like a deer in the headlights. If you can only be alpha in perfect settings, like reading a script in your own produced video then you ain't as alpha as you think you are. Super difficult to remain calm and collected in a ridiculous "interview" like that.....but should not be surprising from someone who was able to handle the pressure of walking into a ring 80+ times.

Just strategy.

Couldn't even finish watching the clip. Piers Morgan was pissing me off too much. Props to Tate for keeping his cool, but then again he probably went into this knowing what to expect and came in with a strategy.

Not really a tate fan, but he didnt come off bad here at all. Piers came off like an annoying prick with an agenda, never letting him finish a point, shoving words in his mouth which I think Tate addressed fairly calmly and gracefully.

Manhandled must mean something different where you live.
