Nets might get Booker for KD. At this point in their careers that might be an upgrade for the Nets actually. I don't think the Suns should make that deal though.

Poole and Looney are back! The NBA is so much more fun when your team has an infinite money glitch. I wish we kept Payton, though. Also, Jazz destroyed the Wolves in that trade. Ainge did it again.

The Gobert trade was incredible for us.
Most Jazz fans, me included, want Mitchell to be traded for a huge haul, as well and completely rebuild.
We may be bad next year, but the future could be very bright.

you could perhaps justify it if they were a championship contender. you could also kinda see what they are going for, I think they are banking on Edwards/KAT/DLo getting better together plus with the addition of Gobert for defense.

still will be interesting bc Gobert provides zero offense besides offensive rebounds and might even be a negative because he won't give room for guys to drive and score in the paint

He is terrible on defense and is about as non-clutch as any star that you can imagine. He has been hinting for awhile that he wants to play in NY.

It's gonna happen. Kyrie has basically made himself and his value so low by stating he will go the Lakers either this year or next regardless of where hes potentially traded.

No team is gonna give anything of value for him for numerous reasons, but that being near the top. Sixers aren't interested, neither are the Mavs. Lakers are bidding against themselves and Nets could either get something of value in picks+expiring contract+THT.... Or buyout Kyrie... Or have him just sit at home and collect 30+million and get nothing in return

All of these. Minnesota basically made it so they will have max two high level players for the next five years. Utah STOLE that deal and will be laughing all the way to the bank when they come out of it.

Zion getting a max makes zero sense to me but he's all the Pelicans really have so they had to keep him. Here's hoping he stays healthy.

And Kyrie getting shafted by KD was just poetry. That idiot deserves to be shipped to Charlotte or Sacramento to spend another year whining.

Eastern Conference next year is a total crap shoot at this moment IMO.

Didn't they make the playoffs this year? Maybe Gobert will do better on the TWolves. But the trade is definitely a good move for the Jazz. They and the Spurs are both stocking up.

they made the playoffs but they were far from contenders. I just don't see how Rudy Gobert puts them over the top whatsoever, no matter how much defense he brings to a team. being a non-threat offensively is such a let down.
