Japan better than America?
Been watching a travel vlogger on youtube who is currently in Japan. Man, their society looks so great. Clean, friendly people, no loud noises even in cities, no ghettoness, etc.
The people even look nicer and healthier. All of them are slim and there is not one fatty in sight.
Public transport there is also state of the art and serves so many people daily. also very clean.
how are they so much better than us?

Japan was trash before the Europeans arrived. Even Japanese royals dress like Brits lol.
The Dutch taught them manners.
The Portuguese gave them guns.
The U.S wrote their constitution. U.S allows them to thrive because they continue to own more and more of our debt, which the U.S will never pay back (one of the stipulations of the constitution is Japan can never start a war).
Matthew Perry (American) forcing Japan to open up was the greatest thing to happen to Japan.
If the U.S wants, it could send soldiers to japan right now

Yeah Japan is 100x better. I say that as an ex eruopean who got Japanese citizenship.
Two major conditions though
1- you have to be fluent in Japanese
2- you have to understand and accept the culture
If you don't meet both criteria you'll end up like all the miserable ****gorts who leave after a couple of year and complain about xenophobia. ****ing lol.

Japan looks nice, but I have deep roots in the USA and it's my home.
Mirin Japan for sure, and it's mutual, China looks pretty nice too.
I can't describe how much I love America, I am America.
People don't understand, you have to live it to understand.
This is my land bro, this is your land, it was made for you and me.

Answer to thread title is yes. But you wouldn’t want to wage slave there, their working culture is brutal. And as said before, you need to learn the language and embrace the culture.

Every country that has a homogeneous people tend to have less problems than the USA.
Japan has always been a force to be reckoned with in Asia. even after their defeat in ww2 they have been doing the best they can while being under the thumb of the US.

You can't just say Yes or No, you need to live somewhere for sometime, get about about a bit and get a personally informed perspective on the place before you can pass judgment.
I've had friends that emigrate from the UK the Australia, some have adapted but some haven't and miss their mother country.

My answer is No.
But I love my country for just one reason.
The sushi here is the best.

My parents who have traveled extensively have said to me that vacationing in Japan was one of their favorite places. I don't know if being in Japan would be better than America, but can imagine it being a pleasant place to stay. Growing up I had a few Japanese friends who would talk about how nice their home country was so I can remember that too.

Pay your taxes
Earn enough to support yourself
Speak Japanese
Be willing to renounce all other citizenship
Swear to uphold the constitution
Have no criminal record
That's it. Easier than most western countries, except for the sole citizenship thing.
