These broken glass theories are pretty bad and based on pure ignorance.

You can see crap on the floor inside the house in every picture.

Plus, it's obviously laminated safety/security glass (i.e. windshield) which if you've ever worked with it you wouldn't be surprised if someone breaking it with a claw hammer would attempt to pull on the glass and window mullion to break through it.

I have anti-bandit glass at home and mine has alarm triggers connected to it; which is pretty standard.

The broken pane is the one you would break to reach in and open the door from the inside. If you are going to the effort of installing safety/anti-bandit glass, that is the pane that you alarm first.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

Yes to key.

Each pane has a current running through it (one layer is conductive) and it shows on the alarm panel if the pane is broken.

If you are going to the effort and expense of getting the glass, the extra for the alarmed version is small enough that it's a no brainer. We bought the house part built and my wife project managed the rest. IIRC when she ordered the glass it was 10-15% extra for the alarmed version.

Edit: looking at that photo some more, I am not impressed. Those doors should have bolts that lock in to the top and the bottom of the frame when you turn the key. What is the point on spending money on the glass if you can just crowbar the doors.

Looking back, Paul Pelosi's DUI causing injury was super fuked up. Absolutely no regard for the well-being of others. He knew any punishment would be waived and a because he's like 80 years old he had nothing to lose. But anybody he crashed into would have everything to lose.

Well, TBH, if you're 80 years old, you're not going to prison, you might spend a night in jail, but it's too expensive to take care of someone that old, so they usually let them out.

It gets even worse: those doors have bare external hinges. If he'd taken a screwdriver with him as well as the hammer, he could have potentially smacked the pins out the hinges.

Security glass in a POS door and frame. This is how you can tell SS or capitol police did a security upgrade and not the owners.

If they had brought in a security contractor, they would have sold them everything to make more money and it's not as if they can't afford it.

Instead, some federal employee signed off on security glass without doing everything else they should have done.
