I think if you're like a "pretty boy" type, you should stay quiet or speak quietly srs.

And if you're masculine, you should be a little louder and cockier, because those personas fit their respective looks.

I've got kind of a "pretty" face for a guy, and I've always been quiet, but honestly I'm working on being quieter but confident while I talk, because usually I'm kinda loud when I do talk, but I want to play into my look.

It’s not quite that black and white.

For men, looks tend to be - by far - the main factor when choosing a women to pursue. We are highly primal, visual beings.

For women, it’s more a combination of factors. Yes looks matter - there’s a certain threshold of physical attractiveness under which a woman won’t accept a guy no matter his personality or other traits. However, maybe if a guy is a 6/10 to her physically, she will give him a chance if he has a personality that triggers an emotional response in her. But if he doesn’t have that effect on her, maybe she will turn him down. Whereas a 9/10 Chad can get away with a less than optimal personality

Not being socially awkward is One very important thing.

What does set socially capable men back is the fear of rejection. I have had so many co workers, friends, family that arent socially awkward yet are afraid of being rejected. I made moves on half the girls on a dancefloor, every hot girl in bar, coworker, school mate, friends of female friends etc when i was single. Always talking to several girls at a time. Some i had fuked, some i was going on dates with & some new ones. Obviously most end in rejection but i have never understood why that would hurt anyones self esteem… 99% of girls reject you on Tinder, why would IRL rejection hurt more? If anything your chance of success is 100 times higher IRL
