idk brah. why do women like rock stars and musicians if not for emotion?

i think you're gonna take what i say next too extreme but i remember taking poetry and women being all over me. same with writing. the teacher wanted to suk my dik which in turn made all the sloots want me

but i do agree that the base needs to be masculinity; in other words, its almost another dimension to your personality

as long as you're masculine, doesn't really seem to be something you should worry about

also i dont think showing emotion has to equal being clingy.

brb show emotion (and lets say sloot doesn't like it)
brb get another sloot

solved that pretty quickly

You guys are presenting a false dichotomy. You act that there are only two choices:

1) Being a stoic robot who never cries or never shows sadness to a girl.

2) Be a whiny bitch who cries and complains everyday for trivial things.

Obviously option 2 is a turnoff to most women, but does aren’t the only two options.

because those musicians have status/respect and are talented af, it’s a different ballgame. I under your point but you can’t apply that to an average joe. You can show emotion when you’re singing and get away with it, or even acting, but not in real life.

Also lettuce be real tea, Any sloot that does poetry is a fukin weirdo. I’m talking about normal women, not women that do chit like poetry, Beyoncé studies and stupid courses like that

This is wrong.

A woman can have empathy for you and still be attracted to you. A woman would have to be attracted to you in some way in order for her to value your feelings at all.

You're just making absurd generalizations at this point.

We're done here.

Exactly.

They're thinking in black in white without any trace of nuance.

None of them have clearly articulated their points and why they're right, and when a valid point is made they just move the goalpost.

Yeah. He's either not smart enough to understand or is being willfully ignorant because he believes we're not "qualified" to deliver a message.

Many of ya'll are just as broken as the women you complain about.

i also know what you mean. but when you say that, kinda sounds like trash women

but i also think quite a few of those women just put up a front and want a man to pierce the veil... but it doesn't usually happen

anyways, we mostly agree. i'm not saying that a man should cry 24/7

Rolling a tear and genuinely being sad about something serious isn’t bad. Never go full out crying though. All depends how you do it I guess.

Do you even want a girl feeling empathy for you outside of something serious?

I couldn't imagine being a grown man and wanting empathy from a female. It's unnatural. If I ever find myself wanting or expecting empathy from anyone especially a chick it will be time to seriously reevaluate my life.

its a complex issue but IRL yeah crying is a massive turnoff

the true black pill is where it gets tricky; women aren't turned on by 80-90% of men in the first place
majority couples are women settling for a beta so crying is just a confirmation of their existing resentment

depends what stage you are in and how close you are to begin with.. doubt it overall. If shes a **** person, shes a **** person

if youre in a serious relationship, you arent gonna be playing the invincible alpha role 24/7. Sometimes your mood is going to change

The types of guys your talking about are the ones that stand sideways and look at the floor with their shoulder shrugged up and talk out the side of their mouth with a crooked smile and eyebrows up trying to be a shy anime guy.

If someone says don't cry in front of someone, do you HONESTLY with your true heart and mind believe that person has even a .01% chance of referring to getting out of a pool and wiping water from your face that makes it look like you cried.

OP is an idiot, but sadly he's correct on this one.

In twenty-one+ years, my wife has seen me cry twice.

Once was when our son left for the Marines (we'd been together for almost twenty years at that point).

And the other was when I was telling one of our family members that my wife has cancer (just a few months ago). Again, after twenty years.

Agree. Men fell for the trap. I am big on this one. I have seen my father cry twice. When my grandmother passed away (his mom), and at the end of Gran Torino when he died. He said he reminded him of his father. Actually three times the third being when the family dog died.

I can count on one hand how many times I have cried since I was 16. Not because I'm emotionless, but as a man I find it necessary to maintain emotional stability for people around me or my family. I am one of the few men in it and my family already sees me as someone to look to for help, especially physically.

Must be a cultural thing. People are too soft nowadays but I guess that comes with the times. Men need to teach their grown sons to be the rock even in difficult times.

We're so close on this it's crazy.

I've seen my dad cry once (when his dad died).

I can also count on one hand the times I have cried, except mine is since I was nine srs. All of them are related to my son leaving for the Marines and my wife's cancer.

Also not because I'm a sociopath, but because I wasn't raised to cry.

Yea this is a fantastic statement. Actually at my grandmother's funeral she was buried with my grandfathers ashes. He served in WW2 and they did a three volley salut and I received the flag since I am the only one left to carry on the family name. Didn't know until that day I was receiving it. It was quite impactful but I didn't come close to crying. The naval officer speaking and giving me the flag actually had to stop momentarily as he was tearing up (probably 50 years old and tons of medals). Idk it kind of felt like a passing of the torch of being the man besides my father and I have a duty to uphold for my family.

Yea I was raised to be tough and my father was a giant man and the rock of our family. So seeing him never cry until our family dog died in 2015 was example enough to show me how to emotionally hold myself as a man.

Yea people have called me a robot in the past (a lot of females), but I just am not outwardly emotional. Internally I feel it all but have learned to control it.
