And that's not even considering the cost of the patriot missiles that will end up sold on the black market.

You made it sound like it was a bomb that blew up once opened. So dude pulled the trigger without checking to see if it was loaded? Darwin at work I guess.

Russia working on LEGALIZING ALL CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR in occupied Ukranian territories "if it benefits Russia". I was told Russia is coming to save Ukrainians, someone please explain this to me. Sickening.

The Americans definitely are eroding the world currency reserve status, i don't think it will go forawhile.

However the levels of american sovereign debt are extreme and only seem to be getting worse. The irony of this is a lot of the US spending is on militarry equipment and on expanding their least productive members of society.

Colleagues at WarTears published data on AFU officer losses as of 13 Dec. Open sources alone confirmed at least 1,406 officers killed, including a general.

Are these data correct? Reports of heavy AFU casualties are nothing new. The data that were collected are only those that made it into the public sphere, and without accounting for POWs and missing persons. Thus, the real numbers are much higher. The situation with officers is difficult. Unlike privates and sergeants, the officer corps cannot be restored in a matter of months, due to the length and depth of training. There are, of course, retired reserve officers. Their skills and knowledge may be lost or obsolete. "International Legion" contractors are performing tactical and operational planning roles for the AFU, which partly relieves the officer shortage. They are the ones performing recon on Russian positions in certain sectors.AFU command are attempting to address the officer shortage by controversially promoting privates or sergeants after only a short training. This is how the 65th Brigade is restoring its structure near Zaporizhia. Their effectiveness is questionable. For these reasons, Ukrainian formations and mobilized men create only the illusion of numerical superiority, sending unprepared units to fight. The remaining officers and mercenaries are put in the second echelon.

If just Russia, India and China get off the dollar as a reserve its fuked. Maybe not immediately but it's only a matter of time.

Ukraine already using very expensive NASAM to shoot down dorito drones because they're already running out of ammo

Rybar in English
@rybar_en
In Kyiv, wreckage of an American AIM-120 surface launched AMRAAM, fired from a NASAMS SAM system.

What's interesting is that the Western NASAMS and its expensive AIM-120 missiles were used against a dirt-cheap Geran-2 drone, something they tried to avoid before. Amid a growing shortage of Soviet anti-aircraft missiles for Soviet SAMs (Buki, S-300), which are the basis of the Ukrainian air defense system, Ukraine will have to resort to disproportionate use of expensive Western ammunition more and more often. Meanwhile, the same situation, in the near future, will force the West to deliver its modern surface-launched air defense systems for Ukraine's needs (which can already be seen from the announcement of deliveries of MIM-104 "Patriot" SAMs).

Patriot missiles, at a million dollars (or more) a shot, hardly look practical to take out mass-produced drones costing a few thousand.

The Patriots appear to be supplied now not in response to an urgent need but because of a lag in response time. The Ukrainians have been asking for Patriot missiles since before the Russian invasion when the main threat was seen as Russian aircraft and missiles. At the time, U.S. officials decided it would take too long to train Ukrainian crews to use the system.

In March, when the supply of Patriot missiles was raised again, U.S. officials said it would require U.S. operators to be based in Ukraine, which was not possible. Now that the Ukrainians have shown themselves to be quick learners, with the U.S. supplied HARM missile among others, the view now seems to be that fast-track training is feasible. However, no details have been supplied on when the new air defense systems are likely to be up and running. The best guess is that it will be months rather than weeks, though Ukraine has delivered surprises by being early before, as with their own Neptune anti-ship missile.

Patriots will not stop the current wave of attacks, and may be too late to stop further damage to the power grid.

So they wanted this before the war started when they thought the main threat were planes and ballistic missiles.
One drone strike on its radar system and those million dollar missiles will be useless.
And this proves your and stizzles idiotic notion that the ukrainians will be using patriot systems to intercept “dorito drones” how exactly? Youre literally just google pasting any random article that you find lmao…

And use your head, if these were going to be countered by some cheap drones, the US wouldnt be sending them. Also there is more to this new aid package that just patriot systems, such as counter drone defence systems.

Idk why i even respond here, you people say the dumbest shiet.

Patriot missiles cost Ukraine $0 and they're out of everything else so why not. Once those are gone too it'll be more reason to send muh billions.
