- Old twitter had literally thousands of accounts banned for bias against conservatives

I've never used Twitter so I never followed most of the banned or suspended accounts (other than Trump's which was all over the news) but Musk is giving the left the opportunity to attack him. Permanently suspending an account for posting factual public data is.... odd... given the circumstances. The good thing is that he is going to be consistent about it and ban all of that creator's accounts at least. But still, banning an account for posting factual public information and banning all accounts that share links to such information certainly gives the left ammunition now.

We're still in the early stages but Musk is still updating Twitter's private information and media policy to prohibit sharing information or links to information that he doesn't want shared. We still have a long way to go here... but the left certainly has an argument that if you can't share factual information or share links to factual public information it sets an early precedent that there will be limits to what facts can and cannot be disseminated on the platform. Or maybe it will just stop with celebrity flights.... we'll see. Either way, it's his company... he can ban any information he wants.
