Whether you want to accept it or not Ukraine is an underdog. Russia has been moving massive amounts of troops and equipment forward. I'd venture to say you have 600k troops headed to Ukraine about to enter the fight.

Russia has played a tight formation defensively tucked behind artillery. The potential for intensity is rising and Ukrainian forces know it. It may already be too late to be frank. There are less than 200k combat effective troops remaining in Ukraine. 400k combat effective troops are entering the fight in addition to what is there.

Once the regimental structures are set I presume higher intensity which may already be happening some places along the line.
The airbase is functional, but they have moved all bombers away from Engels. Your numbers are wrong. Ukraine doesn't need more men, and more men on the Russian side isn't going to change the battlefield dynamics, just more deaths. Ukraine was a huge underdog at the beginning of this war. I don't think ANYONE expected Russia to shiet the bed as bad as they have.

In what world is it OK for the main Russian air base for strikes inside Ukraine, 400 miles inside Russian borders to get hit by a fukking drone dude? Can you imagine being the guy that had to tell Poots this happened?

Now the drones don't even need to drop a bomb on you, just in a general area and detonate in the air to kill you with shrapnel. Fuk all that mayne.
I don't see them using it much. It's a one way trip for the uav. Either side can dangle a claymore and blow their drone.

I think they are to precious, especially the ones that can easily lift 5lbs

Ukraine had several hundred thousand combat capable at the beginning. The 200k estimate now includes guard and other police forces "in uniform." Ukraine needs much more than men. The commander asked for a whole new army worth of equipment 300 tanks, 600 apc, hundreds of artillery.

Ukraine striking Russians at low altitude is ingenious. Air defense is intended for higher. Now the have to figure out how to redirect radar and give the Russian population cancer.

I don't understand the fantastical adjectives you use against Russia. It's obvious Ukraine has fought very bravely at great expense but Russia started with less than 200k. Any kia claim of more than 50k puts Russia out of the fight completely as it eliminates half to 75% of the force there.

Can you explain to me why you would think that 100k Russians are kia? With injury that comes with 100k is around 300k completely removed from the battlefield when that many don't exist.

Im also fairly certain that iraq2 and afghanistan followed similar strategies.

Logically, i would think this method would have to be the way to go for any war.

Also idk if i believe that the main reason why russia was unable to achieve aerial supremacy over ukrainian skies was due to manpads… the iraqi military fielded much much more sams than the ukrainians had/have and yet the US was still able to launch the most effective air campaign probably ever during desert storm.

Another question i have is why during those initial phases did the russians not seemingly provide infantry support for their columns of vehicles leaving them exposed to attack from handhelds? Very odd.
The big difference between Russia and the US is that Russia played nice because they didn't see the Ukranians as sub-humans; they saw them as the same sort of people.

The US saw Iraqis as expendable inferior people. That's why they started their campaign with Shock and Awe which was essentially a terror campaign to drop an insane amount of ordnance on the Iraqis. It worked the US murdered ten of thousands and psychologically shocked the Iraqi people.

It was one of the greatest war crimes of the last century.

Do you have any idea how stupid you are?

Two and throes of battle don't mean anything. The only question is who has the best voerall strrategy, who is losing the most men and who has the best war economy.

I think the answer to all three of these are clear.

Strikes on Engels airbase are justa footnote in the conflict and are not significant. Although I know for you it is nice to count every thing as a victory, but that is not how wars are won.

If anything striking Russian airbases is a huge own goal, because Russia is holding back and they may not if Ukraine upsets them.

Exactly

They went nice and gentle otherwise the RASHANS would've been branded terrorists wreaking havoc on democratic, gentle Ucranians

And naturally over time, the Ucrainians exposed themselves as Nazis and vermin. Outcasts of society.

So much for the Israel v2.0 plan, flamed out real fast

Russia to supply Iran with 24 Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets.

What an beuatiful day. It really is a christmas mircale. Iran is to recieve 24 SU-35.

Su-35 combined with S-400 and Irans domestic drone army will put Iran as one of the most significant military powers on the planet. Iran will have better equipment than the US.

Furthermore any battle will be fought over Iran. Iran will have layers of protection from numerous AD sytems (s-300, S-400, Bavar-373) fighter aircraft and drone forces. The US may employ their F-22 but it will have to respond to S-400 and Su-35 simultaneously, it's apparent strength as being able to engage foreign aircraft out of sight would not be the case.

The F-22s airfields will also be targetted by drones and hypersonic missiles.

Russian Hypersonic misisles could be used to sink the US fifth fleet carriers. The ships would be struck even before they knew what was coming. There are only two carriers in the fifth fleet, once targetted the US would lose upto 100 aircraft.

The Russian - Iran defense pact will change the game. Lets be realistic for one moment though. The ship has sailed on the US being able to go to watr with Iran :-)

Now go find a podcast to regurgitate on this subject lol.

You have to consider what the US is able to employ in a war against Iran. Not the total US force.

The Americans are compelte morons. They supplied Ukraine with so much tech, now the Russians will get revenge by supplying Iran with some of the best military tech going. Tech that can sink your carriers and shoot down your planes.

Lol… 3600 iraq civilian casualties resulted from desert storm and shield.

Wanna take a guess at how many ukrainian civilians have died as a result of this war by the russians youre claiming have been “playjng nice” lmaoooo

I know you hate the US as an iranian, i get it, but you gotta give it up to them for desert storm. Its probably the best planned and executed military operation ive ever read about. Fuking genius srs.

Ill find out eventually why the russians didnt or couldnt gain early aerial supremacy. Might just be like chalup said poor info, they provably really thought that dropping some airborne infantry into kyiv and rolling in tanks would do the trick.

It nearly worked.

No one here or anywhere else expected the US to supply their entire military. The natural stasis played out in Mariupol with Azov getting demolished.

I already mansplained the air defense targeting

Nah man i dont think some manpads could prevent them from achieving aerial supremacy. That doesnt really make sense. By this logic why werent the iraqis able to stop the bombers/fighters considering that they had much much more sams than ukraine. Surely sams are more effective than stingers bro.

And ya youre not wrong it did almost work. They got pretty close to kyiv. Again not sure why they didnt have infantry support for their tanks and other vehicles though, the ukrainians were able to blunt their advance with handhelds.

I remember asking some us army (actual us army not stolen valour like the retard here who keeps ragging on chalups wife), and he said the the us army would never go in like that without infantry support.

Well i was originally talking about operation desert storm. Hes the one who brought up shock and awe which wasnt doctrine during that time.

But i guess you can still consider it shock and awe since that just means using overwhelming force to prevent the enemy from being able to engage.
