Yeah had to skip the intimacy between the two bros but the storyline was alright. I just think veering away from the source material to pander was a bad move.

One criticism I have for shows like this is when they focus exclusively on gay stuff, they erase male friendship. Like the show could have easily left out the gay stuff and been great too. Most movies and shows nowadays replace strong male friendships with gay relationships. It's pretty annoying because there is a space between "buddy" and "homo" like in all the war stories where you have brothers in arms fighting and chit. Those stories are important for men to hear, but now all that is ever told is gay stories. Men might start thinking that kind of strong friendship is gay.

I mean it could have just been a type of 'prison romance' - the show is incredible and the sexual stuff wasn't even that strong in my eyes.

i thought it was fine. i thought it was kinda funny they made the “dont tread on me” guy the homo of the show. i feel like they did that to try to stick it to trump supporters or soemthing. they thought they were cute doing that.
