He would have likely been going to a church where he would have a support structure around him. He would likely have social groups and would be playing sports or games, or maybe hunting or fishing with people. His friendships would not have evaporated as they all went off to different colleges and ended up in different states chasing jobs and careers a million miles away from where they grew up. By default he would have met with a woman at his level and settled down because she would have been happy with an average guy who treats her well. She would not have a million retards blowing up her phone. People in his town would know him and he would know them.
