Honestly, I have no idea how this conflict ends. I just hope this doesn't escalate further, but we might be too far gone at this point. There are clearly alliances being formed now against the U.S. with China/Russia teaming up along with the Middle East. Look at what is happening with our “ally” Saudi Arabia, making deals with Iran with the help of China/Russia. Syria is now making deals with

the United Arab Emirates states also with the help of Russia. The U.S. is losing influence on the world stage at a rapid rate. Retard crew likes to claim Russia is isolated on the world stage, but really the only ones supporting U.S. in anti-Russian sanctions are Europe states. Asia didn't join us, Middle East didn't join us, and South America didn't join in on our sanctions either. Africa is cozying up to China/Russia...

I don't see Ukraine pushing Russia back to the pre-invasion border. Crimea is 100% lost, it will not be returned to Ukraine. Donbass/Lugansk regions won't be given back either anymore. No more autonomy, but still part of the Ukraine-type deal. They belong to the Russian Federation now. And this will probably be a part of any peace deal they sign.

Ukraine's only hope of returning these regions to the state is beating Russia on the battlefield. And losing these regions will hurt Ukraine economically, they provide so much of its GDP. Ukraine's future at this point is in a terrible spot, just look how much population they lost, and that will never return.

If we cut aid, the war basically ends. Let's be honest, Ukraine only survived this long because of all the U.S./NATO aid, this invasion would have been over already/peace deal was signed by now if not for the U.S.

And countries/people are starting to change their tones, Republicans like the Dems were very eager to support Ukraine at the start, but that is changing now. 42% of Republicans in a new poll support US aid to Ukraine against Russia, which is down from like 80% at the start. And it's going to go even lower as we are coming up to election season.

This upcoming Ukraine counteroffensive needs to be successful for Ukraine, look how difficult it was to finally agree and get support in sending new equipment to Ukraine (Leopard 2 tanks, etc). Ukrainians really need to make this counteroffensive to work and show progress.

I think Biden needs this war to end before the 2024 elections, a peace deal needs to be signed if Dems want to win 2024 imo. Feel like they really require Ukraine to be successful in this upcoming counteroffensive. That way they can then pressure Zelensky to start talks with Putin and in this way give Ukraine the upper hand on negations if they got Russians on the back foot, or this invasion is basically a wrap for Russia.

The loss of troops for Ukraine isn't sustainable long term, nor is continual finical and military support from NATO/U.S. who are depleting their own stocks. The reality is, the majority of the citizens living in the U.S. or Europe don't give a rats ass about Ukrainians and their lives.

Sending billions upon billions to Ukraine while our cities are turned into dumpsters and filled with criminals isn't sitting well with citizens. Inflation is skyrocketing, just look at your grocery bills lately. Politicians are scared of losing votes. Even the Dems are starting to change their tone.

If the U.S. stops supporting Ukraine, it's over. NATO will do as we do.

From the reports I've seen, they were fighting for control of the AZOM plant (located in the north of Bakhmut before crossing the river, reported about 1 week ago roughly). And now it looks like, from both Russian and Ukrainian channels, is basically almost fully in control of Wagner PMC.
