Anyway, all it takes to answer the OP is to find a Democrat indicted under a Republican administration, of which there are many examples. The prima facie assumption that this is just a political hit without even seeing the evidence presented in court is typical of the cult but laughable.

I guess the best example for OP would be the ABSCAM sting where the Reagan FBI worked on an undercover corruption sting against Dem Congressmen, who all ended up in jail.
