gf left me. am anxious, sad, lonely, cant sleep, cant eat

pretended to be okay for a bit. lying to myself. kept telling myself it would be okay

hurts more that we're still in contact regularly. worse still that I mostly initiate that contact

i lost an average of 1.2lb/day for the last 30 days. lots of gains and bloat gone.

right now i'm completely dead inside. destroyed emotionally and physically

seeking therapy now

Why do you care? Do you think she’s the only girl in the world? You’re not the last two members of the human species left, boyo. The fate of humanity doesn’t rest on your shoulders.

why are you still talking to the bird when you are broken up and she's moved out? Hands down the hardest part about divorcing my ex a few years ago has been that I literally do not have the option to go North Carolina completely on my ex, because I had a kid with her. If you don't have kids with her, count your lucky stars that you don't have another 15+ years of dealing with various bs with her because of that.

Assuming you don't have kids with her, you are needlessly making the process of getting over it 1,000x worse than it needs to be by refusing to go NC. Don't do that to yourself. People here give me shiiiit for having a tough time getting over my divorce, but most of them aren't stuck starring down the barrel of being forced to communicate and associate with their exes on some level for the next couple decades, or seeing contant daily reminders by seeing the very walls within their own homes that their ex painted, etc., either.

I'm sorry man.

What's the whole story, though? Were you together for years and have kids together? Or why are you so ate up over this?

Do you have guilt because you feel like you fuked it up?

I know it might be hard to do and at first it will hurt a lot but you need to delete everything you have about her and just ride it out, I think that is the only way. If you deep inside know there is no chance of getting back then that is the path to take.
If you keep on going back it will hurt, and then she will move on and you will still think of her and it will hurt even more when you see pics of her with another chad and stuff.
You are not the only one to go through this, im glad you are seeking help and misc got your back as well

once they lost them feels I dont think there is going back, maybe after years of no contact

Bro why you are contacting her. If you want any chance of getting back, you must go NC now, or else she’ll just use you for attention now until she has a new man. Srs. Man up. Also go lift

Stop talking to her and start talking to other people more. Not new girls, you aren't ready for that, but guy friends and family. Being stoical and tough is the ideal if you are a guy, but if you are having emotional problems there's no point in pretending like you aren't. Hopefully you have some people you are close to who you can talk with.

Been there, done that.

Had the hardest break up with an ex GF of 4,5 years when I was younger, and I emotionally ruined me because I lacked the emotional awareness to overcome a break-up.

Sadness, drugs, self destruction etc.

I WAS SO FKING STUPID !

Dont lose sleep over a ex ever, period. Heart break is the evolutional feeling to not let lose of her because she potentially can carry your genes, thats all it is to it.

Once you realize that you can rational your feelings and move on.

Yes its okay to be sad for some time but dont message her and just block her everywhere and move on, no drama to hold your frame.

If a woman breaks up with you she emotionally distanced herself from you a long time ago anyway (srs).

she was there for me all the time. mopped the floors, helped shovel snow, did the dishes and laundry

she was there during my appendectomy a few weeks back where i thought i was going to die

she kept my bed warm at night.

she climbed on me and kissed me just randomly when i was working

how can i live without her
