Worst decision: Getting head from this fat ugly sloot in my neighborhood in the 8th grade. I was a former fat kid, and I was just becoming cool via sports, was 6'3, and got my braces off. Still saw myself as that fat kid and hooked up with the fat girl and I single handedly killed my reputation in 4 separate towns before I even had a chance at the good life. Multiple females afterwards trolling me for it well into my 20s tbh.
Still had a good time and wrecked many sloots but was really bad for optics at such a pivotal time in life.
Good Decision: Not letting my oneitis fuk up a good thing I have going. She reached out and wanted to home wreck and I said "nah" and that felt good.

Best decision was going to school to be an anesthetist. Now I make $500k a year working 40 hours a week doing traveling anesthesia. Worst decision was falling madly in love with a 17 yr old girl who crushed my heart. I loved her more than anything. Another horrible decision was ego lifting doing bent over rows and deadlifts and other exercises that broke my back. Had to have back surgery after many years of 9/10 back pain 24/7. The surgery cured my pain for the most part and saved my life.

bad:
- sold house in ohio in 2019
- traded in a '15 f150 for an '18 f150
good:
- was @ wekeend drill & made a comment to someone i didnt know, we started BSing, i ended up working at his company
- that job opened up a chit ton of opportunities & if it hadnt been for that id still be making a poverty wage or be in a semi 6 days a week.

Eventually, she told me I was hopelessly screwed up and needed therapy. I agreed to start going, and it didn't take long before the therapist realized and pointed out to me that I was dealing with someone who has a serious personality disorder, who would never admit any fault, and who would almost certainly never get better. Almost immediately it was like a fog lifted from my brain and I was able to see things very clearly through the lens of the disorder the therapist talked about (covert narcissistic personality disorder), and things that had been so confusing to me made perfect sense. Bad: I placed in the top two percentile in the country in science. I had opportunity to go to a private school but I passed and continued to slack off.
Good: My department was downsized and it was left with coworkers I didn't like working with. I got a transfer. Great personnel. New coworkers every week. The second week in I met the woman I was with for 3 years. I several kaizen bonuses.

But IMO, addiction isn't a decision.
How much time you spend on games is a decision.

When I was young I was really shy but I had a big crush on a girl. It took all of my energies to ask her out. All of my mates were like take no for an answer. Do it do it do it but I was tricked by being taught to respect women. Well later that night we were driving on an off road. Right then I had a chance to force myself upon her and show her my powers but I took her home. A few years later I heard an astronaut knocked her up and she got an abortion. Now married to a toothless guy. I always will wonder had I choked her and slammed my man meats in her had I saved evolution

I actually paid for Wes Watson to coach me for a short period of time when he was new to the coaching/youtube/etc. game. I had gotten into legal trouble, wrecked my own family life and wrecked a couple of other marriages, ****ed around with my career... ruined (I thought) what was a clean record/spotless career/great family, my fitness/health had gone way downhill. I never thought I would benefit from a coach, but, the layer of accountability was exactly what I needed to be more proactive and disciplined in self accountability. Now I try to continually have people in my life that can hold me accountable and I can learn from, etc. whether it's AA, therapy, work, finance, the misc, whatever. You can learn a lot from everybody. it also got my fitness back in check and got me back into muay thai and BJJ consistently.

Good. One of my best friends married his high school sweetheart. I always knew she was a snake, but he couldn't see it.
I told him she's going to frame you someday I don't mean to be all up in your business, but I'm telling you. She ended up divorcing him taking everything. Married another dude, and claimed that she got raped dude served 2 yrs in prison.
Bad. Probably when I was 17 on AIM Swedish girl I knew in high school moved back to Sweden, and we kept in touch she always kept saying "So when are you going to visit me??" I was super shy so didn't even respond lmao I was the classic meme "Pls Respond"
Literally went NC for almost a yr cuz I didn't know what to say, and when I finally replied I found out from her sister that she died.

I worked for a national bookstore chain for 35 years. That meant I expected a lot of job transfers during my career. Actually, the company had me transferred nine times.
It was a difficult decision. I could have bought a decent one with the total sum of the rent money I paid.
But it's the story of typical salary men in Japan. *shrug*

I think finally making the decision to be done with it was a good move on my part, but some days it also sucks to look back on spending basically all of your 20s with someone and then having to start from scratch.

Best decision was to quit living with my college roommate...all around a negative dude that didn't have a job or graduate. A couple months later I went to a career fair that landed me a job working in a bank's HQ which put me on the path to sales. If I lived with him he probably would've said it was a waste of time and knowing me back then I would've believed it instead of going.
Worst was joining a sports league srs. Too many opportunities to drink that I never turn down.

Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

I'm only going to speak of things more recently
Good: I took the job I currently have. It has put me in a position with a lot higher opportunities I may have never had a chance to do.
Bad: When my ex and I had our big breakup in 2017 I shouldn't have let her come back. Not because we had just broken up but how she acted. Can't really see her the same after that.
Unknowns: Several decisions I made, who really knows what would have happened if I made the other choice.

ok, I will tell you about one. I was watching one stock on its way down, while I knew this is temporarily, simple mega trend swing. Bought it 1$ per share. Sold it at 1.8 a share. Watched it over a year to grow, to 6, then 7$. Then another 6 months it was at early teens. Two years later I checked again, out of curiosity, and it was reaching 30. It was fun though. If I knew how to read balance sheet back then I would probably borrow against house and hold it with death grip. Would be life-changing.

Good: Joining the Peace Corps. An amazing experience and where I met my wife.
Bad: Getting an MBA. It was basically free since I worked at the university, but I would have been better off using the time for a side gig. Don't think it's helped my career at all.

Exercise will get you through times of ill health better than no exercise will get you through times of good health.

In our case, my wife proposed to me instead, I really wish I was the one. She was impatient as always.

Our marriage changed my late father's attitude toward me for the better. I think he took to her immediately.
