Really?

I'm thinking of working out, going in the sauna, going for a swim (after 15 min of elliptical cardio - starting slow) then maybe having another work out.

Cut out the cheese and bacon fat boy. You'll have morons on here say the kind of food doesn't matter what you eat to lose weight, in theory it's true. However you want to maximize your digestive health as well as maximize your nutritional intake when dieting. There's literally no fiber in that meal and hardly any protein, you'll just become skinny fat in the end. (Ded fkn Srs)

Dude that's a terrible diet. Eat 3-4 meals a day. Eat foods in their most basic forms. Use the "pick it, grow it, kill it" as a guide. If you can do any of those 3 you're good. It's hard to eat that way and not be lean after using that diet long term, like a year plus. It's also good for building muscle and performance. 1 meal per day isn't.

Are you trolling me? WHAT? It's only 1 meal a day and according to all the people on this forum you need to be in a caloric deficit to lose weight.

That meal can't be more than 900 calories, why am I not losing weight?

I try to eat 3 times a day, smaller portions.

You are eating bacon and cheese. You are eating a lot more calories than you think you are. 1 meal per day can be a tool to lose weight short term. But if you think that's a good diet for building muscle and performance in the gym, you are delusional. A steady intake of calories throughout the day is MUCH better for that and it's not even a comparison. 1 meal a day is a fad diet that YouTubers hype up to make money. No actual strength athletes or professional athletes actually use that diet because it's chit. You can lose just as much weight by eating clean. And yes,I lost 100 pounds eating 3-4 times per day. And then put on like 50 pounds of muscle after I got lean.

Most people on here overestimate the calorie deficiency they need to eat to lose weight. I've made tremendous progress on my cut by eating 6 meals a day with about 300 grams of protein, 120 grams of fat and only carbs from raw almonds and green veggies. That's roughly 2400 calories and I'm about 188ish right now. The old school bodybuilding format of dieting has always worked. This whole new craze with fasting is retarded, unless your goal is to simple just lose weight and not care about improving body composition in the end. At the point youre at now, you probably even put on some muscle if you eat right while losing weight, yes another thing that's apparently impossible from people on here. (Ded fkn Srs)

Yeah I guess I should get in a routine of eating 3-4 meals a day for when I'm clean bulking. Good call.

Yup. 100% agreed. I lost 100 pounds while bringing my deadlift from 135-565 while in a deficit the entire time. I put on a lot of muscle in the process of burning fat. Easy to do for inexperienced lifters.

If it was only 900 cals you would've dropped more. Your deficit isn't what you think it is...

Eat a clean carb (moderate portion of rice or sweet potato, or something basic like that) and a lean meat for your meals. If you still feel hungry just fill up on veggies and fruit. Eat as much as you want. Research other high protein, low calorie meals. Other good options to throw in for vatiety, low fat Greek yogurt, oatmeal, fish, quinoa, eggs, egg whites. You can lose a lot of weight eating a diet like that. To the point of being shredded if you choose to go that far.

Dude it is. Handful of ground beef, 4 slices of bacon, 1 onion, handful of mozeralla cheese. that's 900 calories.

I'm all for the whole food diet but I don't care how clean your diet is...overeat in your calories and it won't matter what you eat.

I literally eat the same 6 meals a day like clockwork.

2 meals are whey isolate with natural no sugar added peanut butter.

some days I rotate having no meat and substitute with fish. The last meal of the day is designated for either a fatty fish such as Salmon or red meat. The other meat sources have been chicken breast or cod. Whole eggs and spinach for breakfast. Every portion of meat is 6 oz. I use a lot of healthy fats with monounsaturated fats. I only cook with avocado oil.

Never have a cheat day, they're dumb and will just stall progress. Devote only one "free meal" a week, yes only one, and still consume your other meals that day. This means dont binge eat on that free meal either, consume a burger with fries as a meal or wings, etc.

I'm not telling you to eat low carb, but it's working the best for me and helps keep my hunger at bay. (Ded fkn Srs)

If you don’t have a metabolic disorder and you aren’t sedentary, there’s absolutely no way you’re only consuming 900 calories per day and staying the same weight if you’re currently 267 lbs.

Use your brain dude.

I might have a metabolic disorder. I have been sedentary the last 4-6 weeks. I stopped going to the gym. Planning on big changes tho to keep me motivated.

They're not bad, but the chips, chocolates and donuts you're eating outside of that one meal and not counting for whatever reason is

You probably have Low T.

I’d recommend getting blood work to confirm as you sound incredibly unhealthy.
