Girlfriend pretty much made up her mind breaking up with me. Hurts so badly (srs)

Our relationship has been on egg shells for a while on the verges of breaking up but I never thought we’d actually break up with each other. My main complaints have been her attitude/nagging/unloading/complaining and our sex life (partially my fault).

Because of these things I idiotically told her that I wasn’t that in **** with her and head over heels over her. I said what I said at the time but looking back and the amount of hurt and pain I’ve felt the past few days, I was in **** with this great woman but was too blind to see it and too proud to feel it. These statements, of course, created even greater separation in our relationship.

In the relationship, I often thought of whoremaxxxing and hooking up with random girls and felt that I was missing out. That and a porn/OnlyFans addiction caused me to fap way more than I was initiating and needing sex. But now that’s she’s gone, the thought of empty sex and random women coming in and out of my house disgusts me. A great quote is “you’d be an idiotic to trade in your house for a hotel room”. Too much Andrew state for my brain.

She’s 100 percent right in that she’s worked on herself and tried many ways to not nag, not ride me, try to change her tone, her delivery but nothing seems to work and she says she feels hurt by this. Nothing is enough for me. I agree with her. I should have let me pride and feelings go aside and told myself how lucky I was to have a partner like her every day I woke up. Instead, I got in my feelings and became passive aggressive and noticeably annoyed when she kindly reminded me to tidy stuff up and remind me to do something.

She accepted me for my introverted, autistic self. She chose me at the beginning. I never felt like she was juggling me or had me as a backup plan. She ****d me with such vulnerability while I was constantly on the fence with showing my **** for her.

I spread myself too thinly with work, gym, sports, my dog, my family, and my friends. I made plans with her but she often got the scraps of time leftover and usually I was way too tired to be engaged.

All this to say that it hurts!!! She was my longest relationship and the closest I felt to having a family of my own. All around the house is pieces of a home we created together. Seeing her room and her decorations warmed my heart. Now she’s moving out and getting her own apartment.

I begged her to say and I’m pretty sure she’s made up her mind.

Sounds like it was time to break up. If she “tries” to get better, it’s not actually going to happen.

Take a trip, this will pass.

I’m going to tell you this as someone who has been in your near exact position. I had an incredible girl I thought I was going to marry who would’ve done anything for me. Gorgeous family oriented loyal to a fault obsessed with me. Took it all for granted barely gave her any time, was obsessed with pulling other girls etc etc until she couldn’t take it anymore and left, and then instantly regretted it once I realized she’s done

Tbh she’s most likely done forever & this is going to be one of those defining times in your life that you look back on and regret and feel pain over, even if you’re pretty over it. It’s going to hurt a lot and it should, it’s to teach you a lesson to cherish things more and realign your priorities. I’m not saying you’re not going to get better because you certainly will, it’s just gonna suck for a LONG time depending on how long y’all were together. My ex is having a baby now with her future husband and although I’m doing great physically / financially / with a good social circle and lots of good women around me, it still stings a bit to see.

You still need to follow the typical steps for a breakup. Let yourself mourn over the relationship for a bit but don’t get stuck there. Now is a time to find out who you are as an individual in this stage of your life. Hit the gym hard, work hard on your finances, mental state, friendships etc. it’s going to suck hard and you’re not gonna wanna do anything but when the fog lifts (and it will) you’re gonna be glad you did all those things, you’ll end up in a better place

You’ll be alright brah, Everything in life is meant to teach you a lesson and to make you grow

This. You’re looking at it through rose colored glasses. It hurts because it’s fresh. In a year you’ll look back and go “damn, all those red flags. I dodged a bullet.”

I’ve had a couple great girls like that. But there were things that just made it where it was never going to work out. One of them in particular, her crazy possessiveness was cute until it wasn’t. Then it was her wanting to track me by my phone and then asking me where I was going randomly when I’d go to get friggen gas or something. Real nice girl. She stood out because I usually attract trash but she wasn’t like that. Literal marriage material if not for those issues but they were big dealbreakers.

It’s for the best. People who are meant to be don’t break up.

I did do this. But in even clearer terms and with specific examples…and made it sound all nice and regretful and how stupid I was. She said she’s not changing her mind.

Her main defense is that she’s not sure she even wants children and can’t give me what I ultimately want. Literally things were fine 3 days ago and we were towards a relationship, her full well knowing, I wanted 2 or more kids. I was going to therapy and reporting back on the things I learned and talked about

The breaking point was when she asked why I didn’t turn off the oven light… and asked “do I usually start things without finishing them??” Mind you, I wasn’t the last one to take stuff out the oven (so how would I be tracking turning off the light??) and two, we didn’t even clean up and I didn’t even take a single bite out of my food yet. Either way, I could have reacted better than to be once again, be visibly annoyed and frustrated

It’s hurts so bad. All I had to do was just cherish her a little bit more. Not take criticisms so hard and so personal. Remind myself that if all else my in my life felt to ****, I had an amazing and loyal partner by my side

It can be hard making the transition from young boy to a man. Times are changing boyo, you want a woman whose going to make a good wife and mother. You’re going to have to pull your weight around the house and prioritize your time with her. Just how it works, good women need **** and care.

Lol dude, she has you mind fuked.

Remember, she probably “mentally broke up with you” when you started therapy. But she needed time to secure a backup while still keeping benefits if your relationship.

Relationships shouldn’t be this tough. It sounds like you’ve been well gaslit for a while now.

also this. While you were ****ing up months ago that’s when she was mentally detaching herself in small increments. By the time she finally cuts the cord she has been “over it” for a while that’s why there’s almost no getting her back

She basically said the same thing. She said that she wasn’t as emotional for the breakup because she’s been devoid of the relationship because I wasn’t there emotionally

The day before she broke up with me. She was crying and broke down crying over a dispute. At that point we were still together and she was still emotionally invested

I lived that whole thing once. Eggshells, her resenting and nagging, browsing escorts sites but not using them cuz I felt I wanted something diff, her blowing up at me and two day fights, fapping all the time. lack of sex.

One day she blew up and kicked me out. Was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was a wake up call to take care of the home I lived in and to treat co inhabitants right. Became a better guy for it, stopped browsing degen, went on a ho streak and got it out the system. Finally fell in **** with a girl who is perfect in every way for me. We moved in and plan on starting a family.

Grieve it but know it was long dead and then move on. This is a huge blessing. Let it go man.

Like yours mine ended over something tiny, a miscommunication literally. If it blows over something small it has been done for months already. No coming back but its a blessing. If you were considering escorts it was because you knew something was wrong inside. Now I only watch pron literally one time a week. I bust all my nuts inside my girl and never if only rarely think I miss out on other girls til I see her again and immediately forget all that.
