As a man who has always been somewhat desirable to (the wrong kind) of women, I find it funny. Personally, I never cared about marriage or kids. I’m 31 and just think ehhhh whatever, about it. Part of it is because I’m so independent and happy with myself, and the other part is because I’m not “elite tier” enough to actually get the kind of girl I really want. If a really pretty girl with traditional values, a good heart, logical/critical thinking ability, and was in VERY good physical shape and in her early to mid 20’s was interested in me; I might roll with the idea. But that never really happened. It was always the trashy sluts interested in me, and those kind of girls were obviously a non-starter as far as a relationship or marriage was concerned.

I was thinking the other day, there’s a plus side to all this in the end. I’ll never get divorce raped and have half my net worth stolen, I’ll never have my wages garnished for child support, I’ll never be put in jail for failure to pay said child support, I’ll never have to watch someone **** another man and tell me how much she hates me, all while I stay for the kids or to try to save the marriage etc. I’m pretty much past those pitfalls at my age. All in all my life will remain easy, and I likely won’t ever regret not getting married.

For women it’s very different though. It’s a fantasy when they’re young, but that’s because everyone around them bends over and kisses their ass constantly. As they get older and realize the type of loneliness the average man lives with, their priorities are likely to change. Women don’t do well with solitude like men do.

As you saw with the Tech layoffs, significantly more females were let go than males. In an environment where money isn't falling from the sky and these companies must justify numbers to shareholders, output of employees will matter again.

I've always provided the same value as men but I'm a perfectionist at work. Hence why I have extreme anxiety as I want to do the perfect job for everyone and don't make anyone unhappy.
