I would rather someone come in whose not in their 70s or older to run the country. Need to freshen things up a bit. I love Trump but I would much rather a younger republican with the ability to compromise and work together within the party and to be able to win more people over to vote conservative

The 5th Avenue thing is true. Trump could literally shoot someone on the street and his base would still not flinch. Heck, Trump could even film himself literally eating babies for dinner and not lose any voters. If they were liberals babies, he'd even win voters that way.


His favorability rating is actually still around where it was on the 2020 election. Even though lots of Republicans didn't want him to be the nominee in 2016, he was anyway and he won. DeSantis is the alternative, but Trump is polling at what, like 51%, and getting endorsements from all angles.


Republicans do actually want him as their nominee.

Yes, but not enough voters to win. That's been proven over and over again, so if they want to definitely lose, then yes, go ahead and nominate him.

The point of an election is to at least put yourself in a position to win.
