Yeah don't count on that stuff anymore. We know things are way beyond f*cked now given how far they are pushing this to keep him from running in 2024.

It amazes me that so many Americans are too dumb to see how bad this is. I was taught in school that tyrannical governments try to jail any political opposition that threaten their power.

The documents were retained in Florida, and the alleged obstruction happened in Florida.

Makes it faster to go to trial as well, bringing the charges in DC would result in months of Trump's team battling that it's not the right venue based on where the alleged offenses occurred.

This right here is what I find so interesting. Precedent from federal courts aside, trumps position is that as an elected president he's the final say on control of these documents.

Sillie, biden; the groomers are asserting that this is incorrect. An unelected bureaucracy has authority over an elected president and he has to get its permission.

I've only seen reports it's USC 793 (which was listed on the search warrant) and doesn't say anything about classification.
