I think SC Jack Smith is going to nail Trump for 1/6 too.
Been listening to this guy on the car rides home from work.
I used to think the case was weak, but after listening to him its changed my mind.
This guy isn't messing around.
Seems pretty passionate about the rule of law.
Anybody else thing he nails Trump for this as well?
We're talking about a huge conviction, and 100 years in prison here.
Very serious business.
Speaking for less than three minutes, Smith said, in part:
"The men and women of the United States intelligence community and our armed forces dedicate their lives to protecting our nation and its people. Our laws that protect national defense information are critical to the safety and security of the United States, and they must be enforced.
Violations of those laws put our country at risk. Adherence to the rule of law is a bedrock principle of the Department of Justice, and our nation’s commitment to the rule of law sets an example for the world. We have one set of laws in this country and they apply to everyone."

Yeah. And then you have Georgia indictments coming up.
I still don't understand what January 6th was supposed to accomplish, and why Trumpers keep defending it. They should've immediately distanced themselves from it the second it happened but they doubled down and now look what happened. Kari Lake is a prime example of this.

If Smith brings an indictment for Jan 6th you can bet they'll get a conviction or plea deal at least.
And Georgia will be coming up soon, he's phuked there as well.
Poor poor donnie...
Love this for him.

He seemed very confident. I don't think he'd bring it to trial if he didn't have a rock solid case. McDonnie in prison is too funny.

I wonder if he'll be able to take a plea deal to avoid prison.

Is this where you tell us a bunch of agents were down there trying to get people to bum rush the Capitol and grown ass adults made the decision to do so but somehow they're not responsible for their actions because they're too derpy? What's up, son?

Trump didn't tell anyone to take the capitol nor did he make any moves in that direction. It's all hearsay. You won't get a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt. What they will do is go for a plea deal to say he admits guilt, or they lose by some "technicality" and say they proved it otherwise.

DeSantis will be the nominee.
You think the GOP is gonna get behind a guy with 4 indictments hanging over his head?
