80K to invest, half in s&p and half in bitcoin to risk max?
want to be at 300k in 5 years with $1000 per month contributions
figure if bit coin blows up again I can sell and dump it back into the index.. better upside than a measly 8-10% in 5 years if I'm luckly. worst case I lost 40k which aint **** anyways and have to extend out my goal

that means despite my initial contribution of 80k and 5 years of contributing 1k per month I only made 40 k off of interest at the end of 5 years. I made 141K of contributions and only end up at 181K. Hardly made anything after cap gain taxes
my point is it doesn't move the needle much, no risk no reward

Use it to start a business or use it to increase your earning power (courses etc)
Don’t yolo on bitcoin lol
And if you want to 5x your money the stock market won’t get you there til you’re old
Meanwhile if you can increase your earning potential by $100k/year and maintain your current spending habits you’ll hit that goal

I would just use the full 80k to average into the S&P in chunks, who knows where the market is going
But could throw an initial $20-30k in and then start averaging in at $5-10k chunks depending on how it moves over the next few weeks or 1-2 months

Buy a truck, generator, MIG and TIG, grinders, consumables, misc scrap, and hire a good welder for $20-25/hr DOE.
Congratulations, you have your own business.

Just put it into 13 week treasuries for now. Something like 5% interest over 13 weeks, then re-assess

Were talking YEARS before crypto takes off again.
It will have its day again, but north americas economy is going to see some dark dark days ahead.
