You have to assume that everyone who states their income online is pretty much lying. Obviously that includes the misc.

So you can eliminate all of them.

People are just in debt and not paying it to make up the rest.

Its mathmatically impossible any other way. Employers didnt out of nowhere in a bad economy decide to pay people more for less work.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Miscers always brush it off as credit/debt but it has been this way for years now. Surely the gravy train will end of some point.. right?

Rational people I speak with are spending every dime they have even if they don't have the money. Plenty of people are starting to realize life is finite. Once the govt took away our right to live for a few years, now everyone is living life to the fullest.

Yeah a lot of people are in debt, paycheck to paycheck, but even people that aren't in debt are spending more money than ever including me.

Just saw a headline the other day stating that surveys show millennials are the wealthiest-feeling generation that has existed so far

Can confirm, my quality of life is at an incredibly high level

Its easier then ever to make money. More wealth floating around now then any other point in history. Yes the majority of people are losers or are average. But there are more moggers then ever.

Always lol when young people complain about how easy boomers had it. Its the easier then ever to make money and build wealth.

They keep giving money to poor people and poor people usually lack self control, hence they stay poor. So you give them free money and easy loans then they go spend spend spend and drive up the prices of everything.

Same here, and like 3 generations ago my predecessors were poor farmers pumping out 10+ kids (my mom had like 13 siblings) just to have hands to work the land

Just so happens a bunch of moggers congregate on a dying gay forum and are the top 10% of earners in society. Not hard to believe

Although my job is facing lay off right now I’ve always had 2 jobs and during Covid we got extra money and we got stimulus and I just kept working. I didn’t stop. That was the smart thing to do

How do your jobs not find out especially since there's probably overlap with insurance/payroll software?

Not a boomer I'm only 36. But I really didn't start making real money/building wealth until about 6 years ago. As someone who vividly remembers the 90s and early 2000s I can absolutely tell you. You've no idea how much easier it is now to make money. Especially online.

We literally live in an era where 18-25 year olds can become millionaires online through their own business/crypto/stock trades.

Just 10 years ago that was not possible.

i'd say it was far easier 10 years ago to make money selling things online.

now it's way over saturated in general.

Yeah, I'm shocked how going out for happy hour ends up being $100 nowadays. This used to be a $30-40 type of expense, and you'd usually get hooked up with a drink or two for knowing people. Now, you don't get anything for free.
