In the video, after they lose comms for an hour he says the policy is to abort and start going up. Which they did but got comms come back on the way up and then proceed to descent again.

If the missing sub lost comms for an hour which is not even halfway down they would have had to abort and start going back up. This means there is a strong possibility that they floated all the way to the top but never got comms back and are just floating with the current.

Or the ballast that they must release to go back up malfunction never released and just keep descending to the floor with zero comms and no way to get back up.

In the video also they get to the bottom floor but it takes them hours to find the wreckage looking around in darkness being just a few meters away from it the whole time based on sonar and they all cheer when it snaps into view. They could have easily collided it with and damaged the sub or gotten stuck.

This.

The kid doesn't care at all about that dude which is to be expected. At best he just wants his mom not to be sad.

Yes the real serious hardware like this ROV and the Navy's FADOSS crane ship have been finally mobilized and are on its way but it won't arrive until a day later from now lol

If they are somehow still alive down there, they have only 12-15 hours of Oxygen left based on the 96 hours company claim.

Still getting "WTF!?" moments from the Mexican's youtuber's video. He says how they estimate 8 hours, 2 going down, 2 going up and 4 hours exploring. He says it took them 1.5 hours just find the wreck and when found could only explore for a little more than hour since the sub batter hit 40% and had to bail again.

explains all the safety issues that need to be worked out and that its absolutely no timeline if really guarante ass the sub is experimental.

He mentions the voyage previous to his that they were stuck inside the sub for 27 HOURS! but only got 40 mins to see and explore the wreck because the recovery of said subs is "very complicated"... WHAT 27 hours, thats not recovery, that was a mini search and rescue.

Dude is going to viral for sure and translated because he literally calls it.

didn't they say that the one knock per half hour is the standard in this situation?

Here's my theory. Someone on the support vessel is banging the guys wife and stands to live rich the rest of his days by the billionaires death. So he rigged the comms to go out halfway down, and rigged the ballast to not release. That way, the sudden comms loss and non-resurfacing looks like some kind of hull failure and implosion like everyone is saying is likely what happened.

Follow the money if you want the real story.

I'm saying that it probably WILL BE translated soon, but I commented on the WTF moments he mentions which are strong red flags in retrospect.

He knew that in the dive before his the customers were inside the sub for 27 hours straight since recovery was "complicated".... and still decided to be next in line? I would have NOPEd out. He just decided to no eat or drink in 24 hours...

If the military of multiple countries is coming to help and they're bringing all this **** in, they must think the people are alive and haven't imploded or whatever. likely based on those banging noises.

Man im late to this one. Meh ill wait for the netflix show on it
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

I was thinking the exact same thing, There is zero chance all this siht gets urgently rushed to the North Atlantic if the banging had no meaning.

it hit me, if they are making that noise, there is s chance the thing is operational but stuck and maybe one of these dive bots might be able to nudge it free. But other than that i don't think they'll be able to raise it in time.
