In games where other players can trade/sell gear, you need to use a strong password and even an authenticator. I personally don't use an authenticator because sometimes they go down. I simply use a very difficult password to break

Being online is not all bad. If a player is in close proximity, you can loot everything they killed, even chests from events. Today, for example, I got a power level 714 unique chest, and another legendary, during a helltide. There are a ton of players doing this, so loot can drop everywhere. Just check your map and your legendaries and uniques will show up on the map as star symbols. Uniques will have nine point stars, legendary's will have five point stars.

Just got like 12 legendarys from this Helltide...literally ONE was an upgrade for me...

The drops in this game are 100% AIDS.

Edit: And it's NOT because my gear is good. It's mediocre AF.

I think balancing will come like before. There is not enough time or level to test other builds during the beta because all builds basically work up to level 20.
We only get a chance to see which ones are good in mid to high level during the retail version.

If you remember D3 prior to the first big patch, very few people can get past Act 2 wasp. Everyone's getting 1 shot by the bugs except Barbs. No other class works prior to the patch.

It seems that every 10 levels, you will notice a difference in the item power level. I just clicked level 60, and the legendary's are 20 to 30 power levels on average higher. Because she is looking at the stats to see which ones are upgrades. For example, typically gloves with attack speed, create chance, and crit damage are your best rolls. You always wins damage on your gloves because they will roll higher then on legs, chest, and helmet. On those three, do you want your defensive stats. On amulets, you want cool down and movement speed. On boots, do you want movement speed as a priority. Movement speed can roll really high on boots

Even though an upgrade might not be a higher power level, getting the right stats on the right pieces will still be an upgrade in many circumstances.

Hopefully this helps you. I'd level 60, you should start seeing power level 700 or close to that. There comes a point when you start to min/Max and it starts to make a big difference. You can only re-roll one stack, so you need to get at least three of them right.

For instance, on my necro, I went shadow damage over time, damage reduction by enemies affected by my shadow damage etc.

Lol I never had more than 10M golds. Gold is not the problem, it's the rare item needed to reroll legendary stats. Never had to reroll a legendary stat yet since I haven't found a single Fiend Roses.

Changing aspects is not that bad. I just sell magic and rares if I need more gold. If not, I salvage.

Fiend roses can only drop during helltides. They are a plant that you find there. There are multiple reasons to helltides. Paragon, dear, materials... I had not realized it early on either. Helltides are essential to progression.

Last night I cleared the cathedral to get into WT4 at level 62. Did a helltide and a couple dungeons and managed to get two Uniques and 8 other ancestral legendaries. Not one was for my build :/ I might have to temporarily switch until I get replacements for my bloodmist build again

I'm level 80 and gold is my problem, not the items. It's 1-2M gold per re-roll and there's a small chance to get what you need.

Been playing pretty casually, level 74 right now on Twisted Blade Rogue.

Need WAY more life though. only have 4k right now. I see higher levels with like 10-11k.

Damage seems good though right now at 7.5k

Yes tier 3 because pretty much everything just 1-2 shots me in the level 70 capstone still…
No ****ing clue how people are literally doing it in the 50’s.

I'm like 73 or something, haven't played in a while, but agree that gold is the major major stop gap. Field roses or whatever are super abundant, if you just participate in a helltide and ride around you'll get more than enough to last you a long while. I have certain ancestral gear that is close to perfect but needs a stat reroll after multiple failures, and it now costs me over 6m each. I've read online that people are dumping 100m+ to fix what would be a perfect item, kinda ridiculous. Basically need to give up after the first few tries and decide that the item is just bad/cursed at some point.

I entered at 62 but got WRECKED in WT4. Even in normal dungeons / open world chit. Then I finished every Lilith statue, got every renown reward, and now I'm doing NM30+ dungeons (level 85+ mobs) at only level 72 or so. The +24 (20 from renown, 4 from lilith) paragon points, the extra skill points, and the like +68 all stats from lilith statues, makes it much easier - that and upgrading item level of gear.

Prolly cause they got boosted or had a friend do it. I had some guy on d2jsp help me out with it.

Solo is prolly better experience but im impatient

the only thing i'm hating is from level 50-59 during world tier 3 ( i am level 59 right now ) i have been getting a lot of loot that is level 42-48 range.. even on tree of whispers caches, world bosses, and hell tides..



i'm thinking about trying my luck in the lvl 70 capstone dugeon so i can get into world tier 4 because my gear is at a standstill as far as upgrades go.. although i have not tried nightmare dungeons yet

Don't rush into it all too too much, just keep doing higher level (15-20) WT3 nightmare dungeons IMO. Prioritize lilith statues, renown, aspect unlocks, etc. as well.

If you start WT4 too early, it'll be too hard at first most likely... and then by the time you're like 75 you'll have every single ancestral piece you want... then the rest of the game (75-100), leveling to 100 will feel just like a means to an end... you'll finish your gear set and then wish there was another tier of gear to look forward to... and you'll have to sift through the 1 out of 1,000 rare drops that finally has one stat that's slightly better than what you currently have or something.

There are rare mobs that you can farm for different pieces. They come with it consistent stats as well, so you know exactly what you are getting. They are good for leveling when you can't find a good weapon or piece of jewelry. They respawn pretty quickly, so you can farm them until you get a high power level item. I I managed to get a power level 720 2 handed sword for my barbarian at level 56 from doing this, but it takes some time. If you are desperate enough for a weapon, it's worth it, because you can cross over a threshold of damage that allows you to one shot enemies.

FYI, I just blew 8 million gold trying to reroll my first two ancestral pieces and only one of them got the roll I needed. Several ancestral pieces were absolute garbage. One was a level 810 ring with all defensive stats and minion life. /roll eyes

I also got to rare weapons with perfect rolls, and they are super cheap to upgrade. That said, make sure you upgrade first before you turn it into a legendary. Once it is a legendary, it becomes very expensive. Lastly, if you imbue with an ancestral affix, you can upgrade it two more times, making it an ancestral power level!!

The more people you have in your group, the stronger the enemies become! I think they increase drop rates though too.

You have to be careful when you're out in the world, if a player comes close to you, the enemies will also scale up.

What is your class and build? I beat him at level 62, but had several paragon points, and had all gear upgraded to power level 700-715. Which reminds me, if y'all are upgrading your gear below 720, make sure to check each time you upgrade to make sure that it doesn't decrease any stats. If you try to upgrade past certain tier levels, you get diminishing returns.

Edit; let me clarify; they scale up to the highest level in the group. This is great for power leveling with a group, but terrible for staying alive

I was able to get to final boss. Could not kill him though. Basically every one of his abilities is a 1 shot to me at 64, so you can’t make one single mistake or you die.

What build and gear you have?

I one shot it on my necro at 60 or so. Your build and gear matter if you're gonna tackle it at a low level.

Barriers and the immune bubble help too. Mobility as well. Make sure you have movement speed in two of your items. You can run around his shots better.

I might be able to help you. Let me see if I have a good character to do this.

No idea what to compare my items to lol but I’m s blood build. I do everything with ease but the dungeon was taking too long to kill and was getting hurt loads.

I got super lucky with these unique gloves. It makes corpse explosion so OP. That might be one reason I did it without trouble. Corpses jump up and charge at the enemies so you no longer have to kite them over the corpses.

I'm using something very similar to this. I built it myself before discovering a similar build existed. Also, + skill points in to your major skills is a big damage increase. These gloves give a ton of damage to your corpse explosion and with the lucky bonuses, it helps with CDs.
