Nothing right now

But I won't go over $300

I'm looking for a corolla now

With rates ,13k is my number at 5 yrs ,lol at them offering 84 now

15k is my max down

If I can't get it out the door for 28k ,I don't need it

I have the money ,I've always wanted a z06

But at 57 ,with a shot back

What am I gonna do with that

Always have your numbers done before you look

And never tell a dbag salesman those numbers

My car is a decade old and paid off. Paint is still immaculate. Body has a few dings. Some parts have worn out that needed to be replaced that arn't easy, like a ball bearing.

- cheap insurance
- cheap property taxes
- low maintenance(in terms of aesthetics)

I feel bad for nice carcels srs.

"Rich folks" buy expensive $80k cars and get mortgages that stretch their paychecks to zero every month. They need to keep up with the Jones' to show people they're "rich". (Ded fkn Srs)

lol @ debtcels.

Couldn't imagine having any type of debt. But paying debt on an asset that is declining in value is the top tier of autism.

Having alot of debt is a terrible way to live. It forces you to do degenerate things just to bring in the income. OceanGate CEO was hurting for money and look what happen.

Some debt is good. Too much is bad.

The average American is a retard who is only worried about status and putting themselves in a state of slavery just to pay off debt. Then once their debt is paid off they buy another newer toy to appease the crowd, and start the cycle all over. Any rational person knows this is retarded, but it's not what the banks and DC wants you to do. They want you to always be in debt, so you can never stop working and contributing to the tax system. i bought my car out right in dec of 2019.
it's an 02 impala.
paid $1500 for it.
probably put $1500 into it since I've owned it.
it has 170k miles on it now still drives nicely.
so 3k / 43 months = ~$70/ month.

this includes work i do on it and the occasional work in the shop for stuff i can't do.

Zero. Haven't had a car payment in my life other than my very first "student" car.

You don't borrow money to buy depreciating assets, how do people not know this?

You should never have a car payment.

I haven't had a car payment in 17 years once I wised up.

I owe 0. My truck is an 07 with 180k miles and a 5.9L diesel motor, I’ll get another 300k out of it easy. A lot of people in here making statements about borrowing money for a depreciating asset, which I agree with, but mortgage and vehicle are the only two acceptable debts to carry. Not everyone can pay cash for a vehicle, but so many people have been brainwashed into going overboard with their vehicle debt and ridiculous payment’s which is ****ing stupid
