He lies though, he claimed only 200 mg of test in the off-season, and said "health over everything" (lol). Nothing about pro bodybuilding is healthy at all, he's as dishonest as all the other guys in the industry (and pushes bull**** supplements). He just happens to be a very nice and good-looking guy, so no one ever points this out because he's so likeable.

He may lie about dosages but he may not. I know a guy with an absolutely sick physique. He's 6' 235 and maybe 8-9ish percent BF year round and he cycles over the counter SARMs with the standard recommended dosage to maintain that physique. He's been enhanced for 18 years. And hasn't used an 'illegal' enhancement or any real kind of steroid cycle in over 12 years.

I also know a few guys on just fairly high TRT doses (1300-1400 NG/DL) that have absolutely sick physiques.



If you run cycles for years and build a solid base. It doesn't require much to maintain it. The juiciest physiques in the gym aren't always the result of the largest dose of gear.

Nasser El Sonbaty said otherwise (he said he would take 5,000 mg of test, 500+ mg of anadrol per day, tons of GH, etc).

Bumstead was pretty solid as a teen in HS. Considering he's been running anabolics at least 10 years. He has a fantastic physique. But its highly unlikely he needs anything crazy in the off season to maintain.


Once you build up a good base-line it doesn't take as much gear or volume/intensity lifting. As someone who's been enhanced for 7+ years now I can positively say its easy to maintain. I haven't taken anything other then a normal dose of TRT in over a year and my physique hasn't gotten worse.

Nasser has said many times that drugs are the most important factor, and would eat less than 5,000 calories per day to be over 300 lbs in the off-season (not that much food at all for that body weight lol).
