Spending time in 'merica is frustrating due to the narrow vocabulary, unless you hit exactly the right 'merica keyword, they seem to divide by zero.



I still have no idea what 'pants' actually means over there. The road signs are in weird 90s txt spk also.

Brit slang is dying due to social media etc. I miss being able to use words like bird and snog

How about the fact that they use the term "mum" instead of "mom"?

I cringe every time I see a grown adult using the term "mum" in a serious manner. It just sounds excessively childish, but it's totally normal in the UK.
